I don’t work but would like to, clean up, make dinner blah blah blah but otherwise I’m just twiddling my thumbs and utterly bored.
Ds has just started going to a tutor a few hours a week after a million school exclusions and I’ve no idea what to do with myself

I work 16 hours a week spread over 4 days. When I’m not at work generally life will consist of school drop off, on my day off and later start Day I normally then go for a run, come back and have a bath, have lunch, then whatever housework needs doing. I also volunteer at DC’s school in the afternoon on my day off listening to the children read. On my Working days between finishing work and school pick up time I do errands in town and life admin.
After school pick up normally I take one or both DC’s to an activity depending on day and sort dinner. Chill in front of the TV once they’re in bed.

I was at work from 7.50 am until 4.30 pm. I got home around 5.40 pm. Spending some quality time with dh and ds at the moment

I hope you find a special school place OP

I'm home all day with my toddler so my days are mostly busy with looking after him, trying to do some cleaning, then when DD gets home from school making sure she does her homework etc.

I'm not able to work, and I get seriously bored. Other than bits of housework that I have to do in 5 minute bursts because of chronic pain and fatigue, I knit and crochet, watch tv, listen to audio books and mess about on the internet.

Raving - I had to move Counties too, then it took another 2 years of fighting to get the Indie SS place.

There's a bit of an 'unwritten rule' for LEAs in that 2 permanent exclusions are required before they'll generally consider an Indie.

I thought you probably would have an ECHP already - but it's the named school that is most important. You really, really need to get some advice and help with this.

Work wise, I did manage to build up a small business from home - similar to Nikita I now also find it hard to say no for the same reasons. I did this once ds had been in the SS for at least a year.

You say you sew. Repairs! Clothing, fabrics - there is always a need for it. Hemming, zips and alterations would be bread and butter start.
