To ask where you buy your jeans from?

I'm looking to treat myself to a good quality pair of jeans now that I'm post partum.

I made the mistake of ordering a pair from Missguided as they had 30% off. They've arrived and they look awful.

Fit okay on the waist but terribly too long and baggy on the legs! Sad they were also more of a faded grey than black like they should be.

Where do you buy yours from? I've never had a go to pair of jeans that I've loved and gone back to.

Misguided is terrible for jeans. They're always so baggy. I like New Look for cheap and cheerful they seem to fit my short legs with big backside well 😂

iluvsummer · 17/05/2019 18:29

Salsa worth every penny and last years!

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/05/2019 18:29

Only £23 too, bargain.

missyB1 · 17/05/2019 18:34

Joules - the most comfortable and flattering jeans I have ever found.

Whatamesshaslunch · 17/05/2019 18:36

I’ve got to say it. My absolute best and favourite pairs of jeans are from Tesco!!! Such a good fit and so comfortable.

Coldilox · 17/05/2019 18:37

Zara

Jebuschristchocolatebar · 17/05/2019 18:37

Top shop Jamie. I wear jeans to work so these are the business. I have the traditional blue and a nice grey wash as well. No rips and high waisted. If you have money to spend then jbrand.

CoffeeChocs · 17/05/2019 18:39

I like Mercy jeans. I like the colours and they're a nice fit..

I always bought fairly cheap brands like M&S or Next thinking jeans are jeans. Recently I lost some weight and decided to buy Levi's- they are SO much better. They haven't faded or stretched. They fitted really nicely when I bought them and they still do 6 months later - just like brand new. I found with Mark's and Spencer they'd be find until the first wash and then get horribly baggy in random places.

HEW0124 · 17/05/2019 18:43

My favourite jeans post partum are Next 360 jeans. I bought mine while I still was looking about 6 months pregnant and they fit now still and I'm back down to my pre pregnancy size. They are called 360 because they stretch in all directions and come in tons of colours.

Dorothy Perkins, I get 10% off as work for the NHS.

I like the Darcy ankle grazer skinny jeans as they're just the right length for me.

Paper & stitch
Everyone else is shite

imsorryiasked · 17/05/2019 18:47

Sainsbury (but they come up large)

incogneto · 17/05/2019 18:48

@Jebuschristchocolatebar what's the difference in fit between those and Joni jeans?

TheGlitterFairy · 17/05/2019 18:49

Levis. Went back to them a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back! Proper waist/ leg fit rather than dress size, wash well and keep their shape.

MightyDonut · 17/05/2019 18:49

Levi's every time for me from shops that sell them.

runningtogetskinny · 17/05/2019 18:49

I lost weight 5 years ago and DH bought me 2 pairs of Levi's as a treat. I'm still wearing them, bought cheaper ones in between but nothing compares. I have a small waist to hip/thigh and they're the only ones I don't have to hitch up. I've bought a couple of pairs again, I'm sure they have 20% off on the website at the moment!

Youngandfree · 17/05/2019 18:50

River island mollies or next’s 360s

Same!

incogneto · 17/05/2019 18:53

Levi's seem popular! Will have a look at those.

My stepdads has a pair of them and they've lasted him absolutely years

M&S and Next

sandstorm13 · 17/05/2019 18:55

Finding proper jeans when you are only a 28" leg but a 35" waist is a nightmare.... Best I've got are some of the Next ones - size 16 petite - but they always eventually wear at the top of the thighs....

Makemeaname · 17/05/2019 18:55

Not sure what size you are but I get mine from simply be - about 15 quid a pair and they have an elasticated waistband which is so comfy. Still look like normal jeans though. My only issue with them is the black isn't very black.

RottnestFerry · 17/05/2019 19:00

The last pairs I bought were Tesco Value £3 each.

Not surprisingly, they were an absolutely awful fit but good enough for the workshop. I never wore them out.

halfmoonbay · 17/05/2019 19:14

Lucky Brand. It took me years to find decent fitting jeans - I now have more pairs than I could possibly need.
