Just seen an advert for the new Cadbury’s buttons treat box thing - think they’re called Treasures?

Plastic box. Two big compartments. Shite plastic toy. About four buttons.

Have Cadbury’s missed the cutting-down-on-plastic memo? What’s wrong with a bag?!? And why the need for an additional treat when you’re already giving buttons (or a Freddo)

What annoys me is the amount of cards and stickers in packets of dried fruit for kids. The box is cardboard so is recyclable, but the tat they put inside contains or is coated with plastic making them non recyclable, I think at least 80% of kids disregard the tat, and the rest could live without the short time spent with them before they get binned

I’m more pissed that I was expecting mini Freddo faces when I first saw the box instead got boring buttons 😬 I recycle everything, yes I know they should be cutting down on plastic but it’s one of them things where they just hope everyone recycles.

but if they are going to have the usual wrapper you are going over to the bin to chuck it so the arguemnt over whether it will just be chucked not recycled doesnt hold.becasue your going to the bins either way just putting one or the other in no?
