Bloody Emmerdale, that's all I'm saying. And yes, I know it's not real life

Three words.

Toy Story Three.

That was a tough day.

PersonalClown · 13/05/2019 21:47

I cry at all sorts. I can't help it. Sometimes I wish I didn't so easily.

I sobbed three times at Avengers:Endgame.

KindergartenKop · 13/05/2019 21:52

I always cry at the end of Deep Impact when the two teenagers take the baby on the motor bike.

MrsJamieFraser2 · 13/05/2019 21:53

@SmellbowSmellbow123 Yes! That was tragic, I bawled my eyes out. I loved Will.

patsycrime · 13/05/2019 21:55

DIY SOS every bloody time!

SamBaileys · 13/05/2019 22:08

I cried during most episodes of the dog rescuers. I can't watch it anymore after one particularly harrowing story.

Nannewnannew · 13/05/2019 22:15

I cried yesterday when reading a Maureen Lee novel called ‘Liverpool Annie’. Annie’s newly married daughter had just left for Australia and her son turned on Annie and accused her of not caring about them and that she could have stopped her daughter leaving. Annie had been widowed when her children were young and had struggled during the 1960s to make a good life for her children. She was so stunned and heartbroken that it really struck a chord with me about how many children never understand or appreciate the sacrifices their parents make for them. At least not until they have children of their own-well hopefully they will understand then!

RuggerHug · 13/05/2019 22:23

I pretty much only cry at stuff on tv/films. Like funerals and other horrible things I keep it together. Something about being able to let it all out alone on my couch probably.

Derry girls and catastrophe ruined me in the last few months.

Wishiwasincornwall · 13/05/2019 22:46

I once cried watching the Morrisons advert where the grandson comes home from the army and his Nan had bought him a pie. Confused

Clawdy · 13/05/2019 22:58

The last scene of the last series of Upstart Crow, where the little boy has died. Had been laughing at the earlier scenes, shows what a very good writer Ben Elton is.

DontCallMeShitley · 13/05/2019 23:11

Oh yes, Marley and Me. The only time I have cried over a film in front of someone. I refuse to ever watch it again.

Nanny0gg · 13/05/2019 23:37

I won't watch any film with an animal in it if I can avoid it as I know they'll die.

There is a particular series of books I've read dozens of times. I cry at the same point in the same books every time. So beautifully written you know the people.

Tillygetsit · 14/05/2019 03:39

The Fisher King always makes me cry. It's the bit where Robin Williams character tells the awkward girl what he knows about her.😪

Snowfalling · 14/05/2019 04:19

I cried for hours after watching Troy. The ending broke my heart.

FiveShelties · 14/05/2019 05:20

I cry at everything, books, TV programmes, films and even commercials especially Christmas commercials. I cry if people are kind to me but never if they are horrible. I never cry if anything bad happens to me, but cry if bad things happen to other people.

It is so annoying and I try really hard not to, but always fail.

LeslieYep · 14/05/2019 06:06

The coffee and TV music video had me burst into unexpected tears! Wasn't even pregnant so can't blame hormones.

I also cried at avengers endgame, but worryingly welled up at the TRAILER for toy story 4! Pregnant that time though, so it's no biggie!

EmeraldShamrock · 14/05/2019 07:45

I cried at Eastenders. I know cringe, The new family had arrived, dirt poor, when the DM was trying to flog the DC console, I was heart broken.
I was out of work, under financial stress myself so it hit a nerve.
Other than that only watching an old movie, the champ it gets me every time.

RuggerHug · 14/05/2019 07:50

FiveShelties YES!! Christmas ads!! Pretty much all of them....Blush

DreamsOfDownUnder · 14/05/2019 09:20

Loyaultemelie · 14/05/2019 11:08

Marley and me, My sisters keeper I absolutely sobbed.
I cried in the last episode of Derry Girls and had to hide my head when Dd1 watched Gangsta Granny and Granny died. Blush
No way am I ever going to watch A Dogs Purpose

Balooo123 · 14/05/2019 11:24

@Loyaultemelie a dogs purpose is a amazing film! Makes me sob every time my LG wants to see the new one but she is so animal obsessed she cries if anything happens to them she is 7 by the way.
Britain's got talent when the police dog was on I sobbed my heart out to that BlushI am 6 months pregnant so blamed the hormones Grin

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 14/05/2019 11:28

I cried at the end of last night's Game of Thrones too, I felt so overwrought by the end of it that crying seemed the only thing to do!

southbucks77 · 14/05/2019 22:45

I cried at Louis Theroux PND this evening.

I watched Wonder with my daughter (9) and cried so much she turned to me and said that I should have a glass of wine because “you love wine mummy”. Blush
