Danny Baker is a life long and outspoken left winger. So while you are undoubtedly right, I don’t think this applies to him.

I'd have given him benefit of the doubt IF he'd have done the same when George, Charlotte or Louis were born. To my knowledge he didn't so the 'I just thought it was a funny photograph of a monkey with posh people' doesn't cut it I'm afraid.

I don't see the political point to be made. If he was a Conservative, does it make it ok to be racist, or do you just expect it? Of course there are racist Labour people, but how many Conservatives do you think are racist? They are not rooting it out of their party, in fact the government have actively promoted racism with their policies on immigration.
