To expect DD10 to do at least a few chores?

Not sure where we went wrong but DD10 basically does bugger all. Think I’m going to have to get tougher. For a start she gets £5 pocket money 2 weeks out of 4 ( the other weeks she gets £2 & £3 due to animal sponsorship) so she needs to start earning it! Interested to know what your kids do around the house. DD’s room is unbelievable!

Gradually coming to the conclusion that DD is on the spectrum ( high functioning) & that could explain a lot. Going to push for more tests as hardly anything has been done up until now

My DS 13 is high functioning on the spectrum and it's very hard to get him to fulfil any domestic responsibilities although to be fair his room never gets too messy. My main issue with him is geting him into the shower.
My DD 11 has an incredibly messy room but helps out all the time around the house. Hoovering, tidying the living room and kitchen etc often without being asked.

I did venture in and clean her room the other day because I figured it had become too overwhelming for her and I am after all the adult here.

She has kept it resonably tidy since.
