To think that demanding, spoilt, selfish types always say someone is being mean when you won't do as they say?

I have just had a nightmare Ebay buyer who bought an item, never paid for it so I eventually cancelled the sale and relisted. She then immediately (before I had time to block her) bought the item again and sent a snotty message saying how she was very busy and it's not much to wait a week or so for payment. I said I'd sell it to her if she paid straight away this time. She again didn't and after a few days I cancelled the sale and relisted.

She has just sent another snotty message and I replied saying that she hasn't paid so it doesn't seem as though she does want to buy the item and she has sent me another message, having a tantrum really and saying I'm 'mean' because I won't wait for her to have enough time to pay! Yet she has plenty of time to send messages and but items! So apparently I'm mean for not giving in to her demands.

I also had an ex friend who was also very demanding and thought the world revolves around her, and if ever I couldn't or didn't do as she said, such as picking her up to drop her in town for a night out with another friend (that I wasn't invited to), she would accuse me of being difficult, or awkward or hard work!

Do these types not see that their attitude is the problem? Do they really go through life thinking it's everyone else?

Yes!! You get it on MN too. I can't tell you how many cockwomble posters I've encountered who spend post after post victims blaming, making misogynist remarks or defending the action pedophiles and rapists - even when posters they're engaging with say they are sex abuse or rape survivors - to cry "you're a bully" because you say something like ODFOD.

YANBU. I had a batshit crazy bint once who bought an item from me. She bought it on 5th December, and paid for it after a week. She then messaged me and said 'I need this for my son for Christmas, post it immediately!' Took a week to pay but wanted it posting 30 seconds after paying !!! So on 13th December I posted it. (Recorded delivery as I post ALL mine recorded delivery, and my listings state that too.)

On 15th December I checked the item on 'track and trace' and an attempted delivery was made, and the woman wasn't in, so the item was returned to the sorting office. On 17th December I checked (the barcode number) and it was still in the sorting office (so she had not picked it up.)

I messaged her and said 'you need to get your item. It's in the sorting office, they tried to deliver it 2-3 days ago.

Heard nothing from her. Total Radio Silence.

Then I checked the whereabouts of the item again a couple of days later, (19th December,) and it said 'another attempted delivery' has been made.

AGAIN I messaged her to say 'please pick up your item.' it was £35, and I didn't want it winging its way back to me, or going astray. Again nothing.

I gave up and thought 'it's her own stupid fecking fault!'

Soooo, I checked on 22nd/23rd December and the item was still at the sorting office

27th December I got a nasty aggressive shouty message from her saying she was massively disappointed in me, I was a shit seller, she is putting negative feedback for me, and I had RUINED her son's Christmas because he had not got this item. He had cried and cried for 2 days straight when it wasn't there for him on Christmas morning!

I messaged back and said 'well you should have picked it up from the sorting office then. Several times I messaged you saying the item is there, AND they left a card on both attempts to deliver. She denied having an 'attempted delivery' card, OR any of my message. She said I am a horrible person, and she hopes I never have children because I will make a terrible fucking mother. (I thought 'Hmmmmm I already have kids sorry luv!')

I then said that there was no need to be so personal and nasty and that I just checked (again, on 28th December) and her item was in fact STILL at the sorting office!! So she can go get it NOW! Nothing back from her AGAIN!

I rang her local sorting office AGAIN on 29th December and said 'can you please take this bloody woman her item again?' They said at this point (after 2 attempted deliveries,) they normally return to sender, but on this occasion they will try a 3rd delivery.

I messaged her to say 'even though you have been so horrible to me, I have contacted your sorting office and they say they will try to deliver your item AGAIN tomorrow morning.'

Nothing from her.

Guess what? The stupid cow was not in again, and it was flagged up as 'attempted delivery' again!

I rang the sorting office to say 'what now?' and they said regrettably, the item will now go into the 'return to sender' box!

About 3 days later, this woman gave me a negative feedback, tried to file a complaint against me, and tried to get a refund.

Long story short, after I explained everything to ebay AND paypal, and showed them the proof of postage AND 3 attempted deliveries, they rejected her claim, and removed the negative feedback. They left the negative feedback I left HER though. (This was 5 years ago, when sellers could leave buyers negative feedback.)

Oh, and the item never did come back to me! Never knew where it went, and got 3 or 4 more abusive emails from her calling me a thief and a liar and a cunt. By early February, she gave up, Weird cow.

God, I really hate this snowflake entitled 'must share' attitude. Why?? Why must we all share what is OURS??
