To put mint sauce on my roast chicken dinner

AIBU as I dislike lamb so otherwise would not get the pure delight of eating it on a roast. I also eat it with all the bits of a roast - potatoes, Yorkshire, veg and stuffing

Absolutely not! Mint jelly (prefer it to sauce) on Yorkshirepuds is my absolute favourite. We rarely have roast lamb. My DH calls me a weirdo but I don't care 🤣😍

PS: to the PP who thinks Yorkshire puds only go with beef, you're missing out... I have them with any roast & actually just had them with sausages and mash tonight 😉

I love mint sauce or mint jelly on mushy peas, doesn't matter what I'm eating with them. Apple with pork or gammon, tho I'm I'll quite happily fry a pineapple ring to eat with the gammon. Redcurrants with turkey or lamb.

I eat the chicken (with cranberry sauce) and then add mint sauce to the rest, as I don't like the mint sauce on the chicken.

Mint sauce on roast beef is devine.

And Yorkshire puds go with any kind of roast.
