I feel awful for Caster. Thank God that intersex conditions are extremely rare. Hopefully, she can still compete and enjoy her sport.

@annabanna, lesbian couples are paying lobola where they feel the need to adhere to tradition, some heterosexual couples spurn lobola as outdated. What's your point?

When this controversy broke, 10 years ago, people demanded that Semenya be tested, why, because" she looked like a bloke innit"

Whitbread looks very masculine and competed in an event that requires brute strength over skill. Was she tested for testosterone, did anyone look at her chromosomes?

My point being that she may well have increased levels of testosterone but did anyone check 30 years ago, what were the criteria for testing?

Do we go back and start erasing all those records from questionable woman athletes?

Whtbread is in the past...she carried and gave birth to children. So was100% woman.
If her testosterone levels were too high for today's ruling, fine....you can't turn back time.
Yesterday's rulings was about protecting the future of female sports/athletes.

Doping was absolutely rife in the 60s 70s - hefty Russian and e European competitors was the norm.
