As the title says. I'm trying to find a great hotel for a debauched night away. Something either very romantic or very sexy. Budget up to £500.

Not keen on places with old fashioned patterned carpets and rugs that could be your Great Aunt Florrie's house!

Ideally in the Midlands / East Midlands but further afield could be ok.

Crazy Bear looks like it could be along the right lines but trip advisor reviews are not great.

Please hit me with your tried and tested recommendations.........

www.ashmounthaworth.co.uk/

Might be a bit far maybe but definitely worth the travel

Just looked at Burgh island and the first link that showed up was this one www.offpeakluxury.com/burgh-island-hotel/ which is cheaper (although still pretty pricey!) than on the hotel site plus champagne

Dormy House is lovely. No 131 in Cheltenham has the kind of vibe you’re thinking. I love the bar and restaurant there too!

I agree with PP who said Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. I love it there

The Residence Bath. Not near the Midlands but really sexy.

May not be what your version of sexy is but we stayed in a cabin at Chilterns View near Henley and had a rather wonderful time... middle of nowhere and secluded hot tub.

I know plenty of sexy hotels but personally I prefer a private cabin with a log fire and no one passing our door so we can be noisy Grin

My first wedding was at burgh island in 2014, it’s very special x

I've had no luck sadly. Some places have a minimum of 2 nights' stay, I can only do one night.

Others are fully booked and sadly others are too far. I've checked out every single hotel suggested on this thread I think 😩

I'm going to have to go for something nice but not all that sexy I think... thanks so much for all suggestions though, keeping them noted for another time as there's some real beauties.
