I'm torn. Could be good, could be a load of shite.

AIBU to be sceptical?

Bollocks.

GMtoBe · 28/04/2019 17:14

Shite I thought. DD just poured water over herself. Open cup with handles much better.

UncleMatthewsEntrenchingTool · 28/04/2019 17:15

Good IMO

dementedpixie · 28/04/2019 17:17

I didn't like ours and the handles are a bit crap. A tommee tippee first cup with the lid off was better

moreismore · 28/04/2019 17:19

good in that an 8 month old could drink out of it, bad in that they can’t use it unsupervised. 360 cup is better and it’s what I’ve re-bought for my second DC

moreismore · 28/04/2019 17:20

(Who can use it unaided at 7 months. Cup boast not DC boast just to clarify Grin)

Minai · 28/04/2019 17:21

Absolute bollocks in my opinion. Ds1 is nearly 2 and still spills all down himself whenever he tries using it.

Rockbird · 28/04/2019 17:21

Bollocks. Drenched dd each time she tried to use it.

racewhorse · 28/04/2019 17:21

I have the 360 and it's brilliant, just thinking of the next step

LotsToThinkOf · 28/04/2019 17:22

Bollocks

grubus · 28/04/2019 17:22

Mine would always try to put it down "flat". And then spill it

racewhorse · 28/04/2019 17:24

@grubus interesting point actually

Just go to a tommy tippy cup with the lid off, they will already be used to how far they have to tip to get liquid if they use a 360. We tried it v early with bottle and spout refusing DS but it wasn’t a huge success.

pastabest · 28/04/2019 17:33

Shite.

Utter utter shite.

My two year old loves it though, but it was bought for her bottle refusing 11 month old sister whose only use for it was to find yet another way to throw stuff at me.

Really don't get the hype. Perhaps other people's children are just better behaved than mine.

Penguincake · 28/04/2019 17:39

Complete waste of money. I regretted buying it.

WindypopsWendy · 28/04/2019 17:43

Heath visitor pushed it and it was shite!

monal · 28/04/2019 17:46

I have three and have loved them for both my kids.

moggle · 28/04/2019 17:47

Don’t see the point. Even if they can drink out of it unaided they will still need you to give it to and take it off them and they will still knock it flying accidentally or on purpose until they’re about 2 at least... my daughter age 4.5 still gets a 360 cup for milk because I CBA constantly cleaning up the spills she makes because she’s not paying attention.
OP, I think if they can drink from a 360 cup they should be fine to drink from an open cup? And if they can, it’s not like they will lose the skill if they don’t do it at every mealtime.

Amara123 · 28/04/2019 17:47

Munchkin cups are far far better imho.

RozyRoz · 28/04/2019 17:48

Going against the grain here but we thought it was great. Never used a sippy cup though so I don't know if that meant he found it easier to learn how far to tip it if that makes sense?

Constance1234 · 28/04/2019 17:49

Waste of time. Mine was fine picking up and drinking from it from around 9 months but much preferred pouring it out, usually over my feet. We much preferred the Nuby non spill cup.

raviolidreaming · 28/04/2019 17:52

Mine would always try to put it down "flat". And then spill it

Same here. Free flow cup / munchkin 360 with the lid off was a much easier and cheaper progression.

Pretry · 28/04/2019 17:57

Love it, only way my ebf babies would drink.

racewhorse · 28/04/2019 17:58

Don't think the way they feed has anything to do with it

Loved it and never had any issues with it. My DD used it from 4 months and used it independently pretty early, then at 14 months moved to a regular cup. The instructions tell you how to use it and I think that’s key - only fill with a small amount of water and when you offer it cup the bottom in your palm so they can grab the handles. When going out I just took that and a bottle of water or ordered tap water to fill it. My DD rarely spilled it and learnt to pass it back after a drink as she couldn’t reliably place it on the table for some time. Worked for us anyway!
