Ah possibly. I think I was so sure it was Jeffrey Archer just because his were literally the only short stories I have ever read that weren’t science fiction, but then I googled for the name of the story and couldn’t find it so I doubted myself. John Wyndham makes sense.

My dh is a wedding photographer and doesn’t do that nonsense. He hates the black and white photos with the colour pop.
Our photographer did a couple of hideous photos of us super imposed on a horse shoe and a wild flower meadow.
