To say this monster should never be released

He murdered three tots. Was not mentally ill, and has never explained why. Yet apparently he has changed a lot in prison and is cleared for release.
How can this be right?
AIBU to say that this man must surely be pure evil. Or can he really have changed?
Note: the articles give details, especially the 2nd one, which some may prefer not to read.

Amazing what you can find on the internet these days.
🤦🏻‍♀️

Shoot me down by all means but this is just one example of why the death penalty should be brought back.
I know
I know
But I just cannot get my head round someone who has done this sort of horrific crime rejoining ‘society’
Probably going to have to NC now but I’m afraid I stand by it.
I know that ‘it’s barbaric’ ‘we are not god’ etc etc
But when I hear of stuff like this it sickens me

englishdictionary · 26/04/2019 00:57

We don't need the death penalty to prevent people like this being able to rejoin society. Just common sense.

Greeborising · 26/04/2019 01:33

Maybe you’re right english
I just find it very hard to emotionally accept such horrors, think my common sense leaves me

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 26/04/2019 01:57

That means he still has the third to serve yet.

This. 3 life sentences for 3 lives taken.

hiddenmnetter · 26/04/2019 07:37

Judges need to be firmer, it's like cat and mouse between the judge and the garda, unless you don't pay for your tv licence, then the judge will come down hard.

Just not true. Judges are constrained by sentencing laws. And if you’ll notice he was given a life sentence with a minimum of 20 years, the maximum sentence since hanging was banned. Hardly going soft. Maybe you should look at the parole board? Or the drastically underfunded criminal justice system?

*you cannot rehabilitate a psychopath. And if you ever think you have, then you have been had.

They are physically, chemically, biologically, litterally, actually incapable of curing. They are missing a piece of their puzzle that cannot be found nor put back in.*

This.

i thought PPs said he wasn't diagnosed with any psychological or mental health issues?

This is the part I truly cannot understand.

On what planet (universe, dimension) does someone brutally murder three young children and impale their bodies on a fence (because ones crying was annoying him) - and not have any psychological issue?

If that was in the capacity of someone without psychological issues, most of the population of patents and child carers would have done it.
