Got song stuck in my head and no idea what it is - please help :)

I’ve got a song in my head and I have no idea what it is.

The annoying thing is I don’t know any of the lyrics - I just have (what I think is) the main part of the tune, and have no idea how to identify it.

I think it’s a fairly recent song and maybe it’s been used on an advert, but I can’t think which one (maybe McDonalds or KFC?)

The best way I can describe the bit of the song in my head is that it’s played on some synths or something and sounds quite upbeat and summery, and the rhythm is something like: Doo doo doo do-do-do-do-do-do, doo doo doo do-do-do-do-do-do.

I thought it might be something by Macklemore maybe, but just checked on Spotify and none of their songs seem to be like this.

Could anyone help??

How about this from Andy Grammar , it doesnt have any sax in it but it id a bit doo do do do ish ( sort of ) and is summery sounding imo.

Haha @LimaLemur I have no advice and can't even begin to help but I'm totally in the same situation. There's a song I really liked and meant to download...forgot about it...no idea the name, no idea the lyrics but humming something of the bit of the tune I know! I've been googling top 40 from 2019....hits from March, February and still nothing so I totally sympathise! 😂😂😂

If you type in advert songs 2019 into Spotify it will bring up all adverts. You can also do it for 2018 and so on.

Oh no, I thought you’d say it was the Jungle Boogie one by Kool and the Gang. It’s got sax (I think).

I’ve spent two days thinking of a song. Exdp knows all songs, so I’m like ‘it’s about someone watching someone, maybe in a bar or across the dance floor’ he drew a blank. I got it this morning ‘Dancing on my own’ ..... no mention in the of my clue lol

I'm now fully expecting that OP will come back in about a month, having heard the song again somewhere, and it won't have a sax on it at all, or a synth, and it will be rather downbeat and mournful, and it will have been on a film trailer not an advert, and it will be more daa daa daa than doo doo doo. Joy Division or something acoustic by Nick Drake.
