Got song stuck in my head and no idea what it is - please help :)

I’ve got a song in my head and I have no idea what it is.

The annoying thing is I don’t know any of the lyrics - I just have (what I think is) the main part of the tune, and have no idea how to identify it.

I think it’s a fairly recent song and maybe it’s been used on an advert, but I can’t think which one (maybe McDonalds or KFC?)

The best way I can describe the bit of the song in my head is that it’s played on some synths or something and sounds quite upbeat and summery, and the rhythm is something like: Doo doo doo do-do-do-do-do-do, doo doo doo do-do-do-do-do-do.

I thought it might be something by Macklemore maybe, but just checked on Spotify and none of their songs seem to be like this.

Could anyone help??

There's a subreddit called r/tipofmytongue. You can record a clip of you singing it on Vocaroo and post it on there. They're usually really good.

You need to find a way to get a clip of you singing it on here for us to identify.

Too many dooos and not enough dos for Baby Shark. Some of you obviously can't read music at all!

It’s a bit played on maybe a saxophone (or a few saxophones together, maybe?), and it starts off with three long-ish notes: ‘doo doo doo’. The ‘doo doo doo’ bit is descending, going from high to low.

After these three notes, it goes ‘do do do do’ (all on the same note and shorter than the three earlier ‘doo’s. I’m not sure how many ‘do’s there are).

Then after the short ‘do do do’s, the melody goes back up again to the longer ‘doo’s.

Am I kind of making sense? 😂

Could it be My Type by Saint Motel? I think it's recently been used on an advert for Now TV

Sounds like it could he one of Caro Emerald's songs. Theres a few candidates there.
