To think £75 a week to get to work is a bit steep

Why is public transport so expensive??

Dd is at uni in Cardiff , she only pays about £5 to £10 to get megabus to and from Victoria. Then oystercard to zone 7 which can be £2 65 with young persons rail card and oyster.

Although I don't earn much, I am permanently thankful that one of my work benefits is having my company pay most of my zone 1-6 travelcard per month. I think I have £30 taken out my salary to cover the rest and that's it.
