I thought he was refreshingly honest. His only mistake was not wearing a condom as well.

One of my dearest friends detests Young children, which is her look out. The only difference between the two is she was more careful.

Don’t understand it myself however as I love children but, I guess we’re all different

He sounds very, very cold. It's his daughter, his own flesh and blood and he can't find her interesting? What a shallow person. The daughter will realise this as she grows up. Children know if you're not really interested.

@Mabel I certainly don’t think it’s unheard of for a woman to tell her partner she’s on the pill when she isn’t. I would agree with your thinking if it was a ONS, but if you’re in a committed relationship you should be able to trust your partner.

You're being ridiculous. I have no doubt that some men think contraception is a woman's problem then claim to have been "trapped" when they don't want to pay child support but you're absolutely wrong to imagine some women don't stop taking the pill deliberately. I knew a woman who did just that (she'd been with her partner 4 years - she was ready for kids he wasn't).
