I know some of this goes behind the mumsnet 'only drink water and organic food mantra' but hey ho!

So siting in the lounge eating a babybel when DS5 (9) pops up to say only kids should eat that. Got me thinking about the 'kids' stuff i eat and drink as guilty pleasures!!! Capri suns and fruitshots, love. Dairylee and babybels. Kids ceral, which we dont eat much of cause of sugar content! Yesterday we got unicorn shapped chicken nuggets as a treat cause DS4 was going into hosp for a bit today. They were so incredible!

So what are your 'kids' food and drink guilty pleasures.

Definitely cheese strings, pom bears and turkey dinosaurs! I'm sure there are more but they are the first ones that come to mind.

BillywigSting · 18/04/2019 21:56

All of the above plus lidl safari animals chicken nuggets, dairylea dunkers (the kind with the mini ritz crackers), space raiders, kipling unicorn slices (a bit like angel cake but leveled up), Angel delight, and milkybar puddings (look a bit like yoghurts)

Babybels aren't for kids!

I think you're all thinking of the mini kidsized ones Grin

fattylawmaker · 18/04/2019 22:05

I bloody love a Capri sun Blush

Quavers, baby bel & petis filous are also in the ‘too good for kids’ category!

cwg1 · 18/04/2019 22:06

I really, really want a Dairylea triangle after reading the thread.

Pharlapwasthebest · 18/04/2019 22:07

TitianaTitsling · 18/04/2019 22:08

whoate tell me more about the pizza crisps!!

jinglet · 18/04/2019 22:09

Am I the only one who can't stand Pom Bears- they're vile! I'm guilty of loving cheese triangles and skips though- could eat both (not together) all day long!

MatchSetPoint · 18/04/2019 22:11

Yes! Children’s crisps and those little Cadbury 100 calorie bars!

DeathyMcDeathStarFace · 18/04/2019 22:13

Cheese triangles spread over white bread. It is optional to cut off the crusts and make into triangles (but I would always eat the crusts though).

Didn't realise quavers, wotsits etc. are classed as kids crisps. I like pickled onion monster munch and any flavour nik naks.

I also like chicken nuggets and fish fingers, can't understand why anybody could think they are just for kids. Fish finger sandwich with tomato ketchup - the best.

Leeds2 · 18/04/2019 22:14

Turkey drummers.

Evenstar · 18/04/2019 22:15

Asda have Unicorn 🦄 Ice Cream, but I’m sure it isn’t for children 😊

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 18/04/2019 22:18

Dinosaur cheese... Tesco used to do (not sure if they do now as living abroad at the moment) lumps of cheddar shaped like dinosaurs. Proper cheese. It was our picnic staple.

CherryBlossom23 · 18/04/2019 22:20

Mm pom bears.
Bird's eye waffles are my guilty child pleasure.
And those super sour xtreme chewits

FrangipaniBlue · 18/04/2019 22:21

DH buys me an Easter egg and an advent calendar every year

YesQueen · 18/04/2019 22:23

Rusks dunked in a cup of tea BlushGrin

ZippyBungleandGeorge · 18/04/2019 22:25

When I got my first management promotion a much loved colleague did to me, you'll have to stop with the Capri suns and squash now, I bet it's all espressos within six months. Two years later I ended up managing her manager and department and the first thing she noted when she walked into my office to say hi was the bottle of squash, she laughed when I showed her the Capri sun in my lunch bag and said she was glad success hadn't changed me 😁.

mum2jakie · 18/04/2019 22:25

Dairylea triangles, pom bears and Drumstick squashes!
