Just that really. It's a gift and I'd like to treat myself. Not sure what to though.

A night away at the scarlet hotel in Mawgan Porth which is just the most incredible spa hotel ever and you will return feeling like you've been away relaxing for a fortnight.

BellMcEnd · 12/04/2019 22:02

A few sessions with a personal trainer

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 12/04/2019 22:04

Honestly? I'd hire a personal trainer. There's one I know offering 10 sessions for just under £300. I'd love to shift some weight and think it would make me feel way better than a bag or clothes.

ZippyBungleandGeorge · 12/04/2019 22:04

Last minute city break

Laska2Meryls · 12/04/2019 22:05

A new pair of Dubarry Boots (or more probably put it in my breast reduction fund)

XingMing · 12/04/2019 22:08

I'd probably buy a painting. Can't say what it would be, as you can't really shop for art with a fixed mind set. Or furniture, and the same thinking.

Holidaycountdown · 12/04/2019 22:10

Just treated myself to a new snowboard for just under £300 😁

Worsethingshappenatsea · 12/04/2019 22:48

I would buy some Ray-ban wayfarer sunglasses the ones that fold in half and a black Ted Baker purse. If any thing left over I also want a tassemo coffee machine 😃

MsMustDoBetter · 12/04/2019 22:51

I would like

Yoga classes
Book subscription
Theatre tickets
New pans
Swanky face stuff

marvellousnightforamooncup · 12/04/2019 23:04

I did this today and bough myself an antique diamond ring.

dahliaaa · 12/04/2019 23:18

Sittingonacornflake is the spa one you can enjoy even if you don’t buy any extra treatments ?

RoseMartha · 12/04/2019 23:28

Pay off the balance of my holiday

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 12/04/2019 23:29

Food! I would go to a nice shop, or several, and just put nice things in my basket, without worrying or trying to add it up as I went round.
Deli stuff, and cheese, and a big joint of meat, salmon, seafood, biscuits, real butter, just everything delicious.
Like a "Christmas food shop" type thing.

Purpletigers · 12/04/2019 23:30

Some artwork , perfume , a lovely piece of jewellery, mature trees ?

Purpletigers · 12/04/2019 23:33

Or a piece of antique furniture

Cattucino · 12/04/2019 23:35

I'd decorate my bedroom. Never had much money to do make my homes nice so it would be lovely to have a space that's just how I want it with nice bedding and lighting that I've chosen because I like it and not just because it's cheap or second hand.

HomeEdRocks18 · 12/04/2019 23:36

A hair cut, an Indian head massage, a trip to a spa that has an outdoor hot tub so I can sit peacefully under the stars by myself, and a good pair of trainers

gingerscot · 12/04/2019 23:40

A Tiffany keyring and some high thread count, Egyptian cotton bed linen

applesarerroundandshiny · 13/04/2019 16:46

If I wanted something as a memory of the person who had gifted me the money, or as a memory of the event it was for I would buy some jewellery but I wouldn't spend more than £150-£170 on one item.

Otherwise it would be a new summer wardrobe (as in clothes not a cupboard to put them in) or a weekend away - and I'd love to go to a spa.

MulberryPeony · 13/04/2019 16:52

Outdoor rug and outdoor Diptyque candle for the patio.

MulberryPeony · 13/04/2019 16:53

Or something for one of my many hobbies!

GregoryPeckingDuck · 13/04/2019 16:54

Diptyque scent and maybeca nice hair cut or some nice work shoes (not sure these exist though).

speakout · 13/04/2019 16:55

If you can't think of anything then you are squandering money.

Put it in the bank.

MountPheasant · 13/04/2019 16:58

Dyson hairdryer!

Notwiththeseknees · 13/04/2019 17:00

I bought my sister some stunning diamond earrings last week for her 40th for £300. They were discounted as they had this weird opal thing on them so had been there for ages. Got the jeweller to remove the abhorrence and they were gorgeous!

Weekend in Prague?
Cashmere jumper?
Gin making course?
Botox?
Ibiza weekend?
Coffee machine?

Not easy as we don't know your taste or what you like doing Grin
