Just that really. It's a gift and I'd like to treat myself. Not sure what to though.

I would go to a spa and get a facial, deep tissue massage, exfoliating scrub and sleep in peace and quiet in the relaxation room for as long as possible

AnnieMay100 · 12/04/2019 18:25

It would be a spa day with massages and have my hair and nails done maybe a nice meal out too. Could you book a trip somewhere? Any experience days you’d enjoy?

doodlejump1980 · 12/04/2019 18:25

I would buy some diamond earrings. Something that’s timeless and will last (until you lose one like I did!) 🤦🏻‍♀️

ThePlaceToVent · 12/04/2019 18:27

Really nice piece of jewellery.

Ninkaninus · 12/04/2019 18:27

Half a handbag! Grin

But hmm, failing that, probably a Phillips Lumea.

Failing that, maybe another suede jacket, and a leather skirt.

DitheringBlidiot · 12/04/2019 18:28

A holiday

notsodimwit · 12/04/2019 18:36

300 pounds is a lot to me Smile Smile l would buy some premium bonds ( I have bought some for my daughter and myself when I had a windfall)and the peace of mind knowing they are there for an emergency is great xx

ShinyMe · 12/04/2019 18:39

I would have a weekend away by myself in the UK. First class train, very nice lunch, theatre, hotel.

Horsemenoftheaclopalypse · 12/04/2019 18:40

Diamond earrings for £300 really? 🤨

I would (and have) done an 8 day “treat” consisting of
~£100 a hell week at Harry’s boot camp (I lose about 4 lbs in a week)
£50 mac 1 hour make up tutorial (redeemable against purchase includes complimentary Prosecco)
£50 gel nails (mani pedi)
£50 hair (colour and cut at Vidal training school plus lunch at pret 😜

I come out at the end feeling so deluxe 🤩

safariboot · 12/04/2019 19:13

I want to take my car on a track day and see what it can really do. (It says "Sport" on the boot after all Grin ). Hopefully £300 would cover that and maybe a bit of tuition.

PrimalLass · 12/04/2019 19:25

I would put it towards a new laptop.

3ChangingForNow · 12/04/2019 19:31

Pay a cleaner to do the house for the day then go out and...
Get a Massage
Treat a girlfriend to nice posh lunch somewhere
Go for a long walk in a sunny park
Takeaway at home
Ok no money needed for the walk but sounds like the perfect day to me

Prisonbreak · 12/04/2019 19:34

I bought a trip away this morning. 4 nights in Venice, flights + accommodation cost £320 for both of us. We go early next year so plenty of time to gather spending money

Fullofthought · 12/04/2019 19:47

A new camera

jenthelibrarian · 12/04/2019 19:53

A signed limited edition print by an artist I love.

GrumpyOldMare · 12/04/2019 19:57

A new hoover

flirtygirl · 12/04/2019 20:00

I'd do a day out and hotel for me and 2 dds circa £150 and as many massages as I can get for £150.

claracluck78 · 12/04/2019 20:30

Horsemen, if you are canny you can get decent diamond studs for under £300. Diamond pairs of approx 0.25 carat per stud can be had at auction for about £250 + commissions and then another £10 for a clean with a jeweller. Classic and a bargain.

paperandfireworks · 12/04/2019 20:32

Weekend in Barcelona.

Walnutwhipster · 12/04/2019 20:35

Coach handbag. I love mine.

SabineUndine · 12/04/2019 20:37

Mani+pedi, couple of books, new pair of fancy shoes.

WeTookVows · 12/04/2019 20:37

I would have one of those fingerprint necklaces made (£90), an Emma Bridgewater cake plate (£50), some lovely high thread count bedlinen (£70) and champagne breakfast with DH in a local independent place (£40). Any money left and I'd put it towards a(nother) Brian Lewis print of Cromer or Sheringham in Norfolk.

livingthegoodlife · 12/04/2019 20:37

Well I have a hole in my only pair of jeans and boots (wet feet!) So I would definitely buy those. Sa £50 for jeans, £150 for boots. That leaves enough for a takeaway and maybe some yummy treats - patisserie maybe? Might treat myself to a new top if I had enough.

Namechange8471 · 12/04/2019 20:39

Driving lessons!

Thingywhatsit · 12/04/2019 20:41

A Dyson Airwrap- I just brought one with my recent unexpected little windfall.

It’s ace!
