Gah... so much to do today and somehow managed to drink too much last night (I know I know) but now I must rally and fast.

I feel deathly.

What are your tried and tested?

So far I've had toast with Nutella and peanut butter and a pint of sparkling water Confused

Moominfan · 05/04/2019 08:28

Fuckton of water. Nurishment shake. Sleep through it

Dhalandchips · 05/04/2019 08:29

Alka seltzer all the way! The XS one is best! It's a miracle worker 😊

Queenie8 · 05/04/2019 08:31

A banana, and a can of coke or a carton of ribena, vit c tablet, neurofen.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 05/04/2019 08:31

Pizza, sex, coke, paracetamol, Mars bar. Will just about make me functioning, unless it's That Hangover that is never spoken about.

Coffeetablejunk · 05/04/2019 08:34

Extra strong mints! Suck on them all day long to help settle your stomach and a bag of beef hula hoops and isotonic drink.

drumandthebass · 05/04/2019 08:35

Double dose of Berocca

FlopsyMopsyRabbit · 05/04/2019 08:35

Lucozade sports and Tesco chocolate doughnuts

wannabebetter · 05/04/2019 08:37

If you don't have to work or drive a large Bloody Mary will sort you right out!!!

TerfectlyImperfect · 05/04/2019 08:39

Dioralyte and travel sickness pills if it’s really bad.

Chickoletta · 05/04/2019 08:50

Can't believe the PPS suggesting sex!

Salt and vinegar crisps, berocca or Powerade, alka seltzer.

DinaCaliente · 05/04/2019 08:55

Cold Relief tablets rather than paracetamol as they also contain caffeine.

NakedAvenger · 05/04/2019 09:02

Berocca
Poo
Sorry to say... a large glass of wine is the only real cure.

NakedAvenger · 05/04/2019 09:05

I should have been clear that you ingest the Berocca and expel the poo.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/04/2019 09:06

Slush puppies- strawberry ones are particularly good. Teamed with a swim in a cold pool.

Bit harder to manage in the UK...

Fraula · 05/04/2019 09:08

Blue Doritos
Lucozade

whifflesqueak · 05/04/2019 09:12

Shower, coffee, painkillers and distraction.

That’s how I get through my whole life though to be fair.

NakedAvenger · 05/04/2019 09:43

Ah yes. A 3mile barefoot run on the beach followed by a dip in the Pacific Ocean is THE best cure I've ever found.

Brilliantidiot · 05/04/2019 10:03

Another vote for dioralyte (sp?) Or isotonic/sports drinks, replaces some of the things you lose with dehydration, water, ice pops used to sort me out when I was thirsty but scared to drink in case I threw up, then the above and lots of carbs,
fresh uncut bread, toast, big fat burger, and coffee and paracetamol.
Hope you feel better soon, it's coming up 2 years since I had a major hangover, tends to focus your mind on your stopping point when your mother discovers you face first in the toilet, fast asleep, looking like you've been dragged through a hedge backwards still in clothes and makeup, having used her key to get in, the next midday! Blush

TomorrowsDiet · 05/04/2019 10:32

I vote for drinking more alcohol and then you don’t have to think about the hangover till tomorrow.

Or failing that lots of salt, sugar and carbs!!

SouthernComforts · 05/04/2019 10:36

Puking
Sleep
Sex
Bacon
Coke/orange Lucozade

And on one memorable boxing day - a full chocolate trifle straight from the fridge

SouthernComforts · 05/04/2019 10:37

Oh and on holiday - dive straight in the pool, full head under the water. Sorts you right out!

PassMeTheWine · 05/04/2019 10:38

Aspirin in a can of full fat coke
Salt and vinegar crisps with a cheese and marmite toastie

flamingnoravera · 05/04/2019 11:07

A hot shower and get out of bed. It's always worse when you're lying down.

FinallyFluid · 05/04/2019 11:11

Make sure you come back and let us know how you get on.

FinallyFluid · 05/04/2019 11:22

Sorry that should have had a Grin
