To ask how I can fix this without £5k?

I have NC because I'm embarrassed to be posting about this. I'm also posting in Aibu for traffic.

It's a boob issue. It's making me feel depressed and shitty about myself.

There is a 2 cup size difference. And I hate hate hate it.

I've look up surgery and it costs around 5k, which I don't have. I have credit so can't get finance or a loan. And I don't know anyone willing to help out for something so expensive.

Do I just need to shut up and put up? To hate my body forever?

If you don't have and can't get the money, then there are only two options.

Find a cheaper alternative, or live with not having it. That's the same whether it refers to surgery, new cars or diamond rings.

So unfortunately you probably do need to "put up and shut up" unless you can save up for it.

It’s your body. Unless you have back pain from bigger boobs you should move on, and try to concentrate on something else. It’s called body dyslorohua. There’s no perfect body. Everyone is made different. Try and stop think about your size. Find a hobby. Get busy with something else.

for now there is nothing you can do, maybe get some of those inserts in a small size, they look like chicken breast fillets, and use those until you can save up and get them fixed, or until you can finely think fuck it no ones breasts are the same, kinda like feet, some people have to buy two pairs in different sizes as one is a full size larger
and trust me most people are not happy with their breasts, but we accept that even with surgery getting "perfect" breasts is realistically a pipe dream cause even if what others can see if "perfect" the rest that we see is not and even worse if you have an op you will have scars and one will still be slightly different to the other
there is no "perfection" so be perfect in your imperfections!

I'm 34 and one is 2 cup sizes bigger than the other. AA and B/C cup. It feels very noticeable. And no bra fits properly.

I believe that if they feel that it’s impacting your mental health then sometimes will fund surgert

Sounds trite, but I think ‘learn to love your body’ is the answer if you can’t afford surgery.
Have you tried going somewhere more specialised to get a bra/insert fitted? TBH I’m assuming you have tried everything

Have you asked your GP? If it's really causing you severe psychological distress then perhaps you'd be eligible for work by the NHS. Augmentation or reduction is major surgery though.

There are bra inserts you can get which might be worth trying. I have had a mastectomy (on side only) so I completely flat on one side. I decided not to go for reconstruction. Suitable underwear and inserts look very good on, for example from here:

They have stores so can advise. Tbh, I, personally, don't really worry about how this looks as the underwear, swimwear and prosthesis looks so natural. I forget I am wearing one. My scars bother me more in terms of hoping I'll stay healthy. I'm glad I didn't go for reconstruction tbh as I had a reoccurrence and needed more than one op and a reconstruction would have complicated things.

My friend had the same issue. Her GP sent her for the surgery through the NHS.

I thought you’d just have to put up with it but just read your comment that one is AA. I think you should visit your GP. It’s possible that there is a medical reason that one of them has not grown. My friend had both breasts AA and was given surgery on the NHS as apparently they had not developed properly. This was nearly 20 years ago though when she was a late teen but worth a visit in the first instance. Otherwise trust me there are worse things to have wrong with your body so I would try to embrace it.

Poor you OP, you have my sympathy. If it’s any consolation, it might even out quite a lot when you have a baby and breastfeed as that happened to me.

Not sure if an option you would consider but if you went to Brussels it would be about £2.5k
It’s not far from the UK, I know quite a few people who have gone a clinic there and had surgery.

I had a friend who had this problem - but it was a result of a different medical problem - not just natural variation. NHS did her boobs for her (we are talking a lot of years ago now though) and as I say the disproportion was a result of a childhood medical problem.

No, OP has a noticeable imbalance in her breasts. It doesn’t sound as though she’s worrying unnecessarily. It might be worth speaking to your GP but please don’t do as somebody suggested upthread and go abroad for cheap surgery. You may end up with even more problems.

Do you have more earning potential OP? Ask for a raise, move to a better paid job, work weekends until you have enough saved? Sell things on eBay. Anything to grow your savings and you might have enough in 9-12 months.

That's a big difference. Worth talking to your GP. Some trusts will cover surgery if it's a big difference and affecting your mental health.

Are you planning on a baby/breastfeeding in the near future? Mine were very lopsided before feeding but they seem to have evened out.
