I have a labour mp. Abstained from revoke article 50 but voted in rest. To be fair I live in a leave constituency but I think he would rather remain so not voting probably seemed like a compromise.

bingoitsadingo · 28/03/2019 09:11

I'm pleased with how mine voted and it was definitely in line with what her constituents want. We were 78% remain. I might email to thank her

MaMaMaMySharona · 28/03/2019 09:14

My constituency voted to leave with a majority of 1%, so I think my MP could safely assume we're quite split on the matter.

She voted in favour of no deal and the standstill arrangement, which it sounds like quite a few Tory MPs did.

I'm absolutely fuming. Why on earth would anyone vote for no deal?! I don't even know if I can put into words how pissed off I am with her - can anyone share a letter they've sent their MP?

LeesPostersAreInFrames · 28/03/2019 09:15

I can't get it to open :( anybody willing to tell me what Liz(Elizabeth) Truss did?

MirandaWest · 28/03/2019 09:17

She didn’t vote on any of them.

MaMaMaMySharona · 28/03/2019 09:17

@LeesPostersAreInFrames she abstained on everything Shock

LeesPostersAreInFrames · 28/03/2019 09:18

Thanks both.

What a disappointment. SadAngry

What the hell do they think they are doing?!?!

JasperRising · 28/03/2019 09:19

Remain supporting area with a relatively high proportion of signatures to that recently petition. MP votes against all the options except the 2nd referendum which he abstained on.

Not entirely surprised, he's a Tory in one of the safest seats in the country who has far as I can see has never voted against the government. (Also never campaigns at my end of the constituency and his manifesto is always just about the other half of it so I can't say I feel like I have any voice in this country at the moment).

chillychicken · 28/03/2019 09:20

She voted against all motions except 6 & 7 which she voted for - "leave with no deal" and "Calls for the government to seek to agree preferential trade arrangements with the EU" which surely contradict each other?
She's an utter twat and sadly sits in a stronghold seat.

outpinked · 28/03/2019 09:24

She represented me well aside from abstaining from revoke article 50 which I would have gone for however she had no choice as a remainer representing a majority leave constituency (idiots).

SparklesandFlowers · 28/03/2019 09:30

Mine is Labour and voted for 1-5 (including revoke and public vote), against 6 and 7 (including leaving with no deal) and abstained for 8.

Her constituency voted 67% to remain so I thin she's represented us well. I feel quite sad we're moving soon!

Metalhead · 28/03/2019 09:30

Leave without a deal, the moron! Angry

DrCoconut · 28/03/2019 09:37

Mine abstained on revoke. He's supposed to be pro remain but has a funny way of showing it.

MaMaMaMySharona · 28/03/2019 09:48

I've just emailed mine with what I hope was a reasonably calm email, with a lot of ragey undertones.

Lexilooo · 28/03/2019 09:50

My absolute tool of an MP voted against everything except 6 and 7. Twat.

JasperRising · 28/03/2019 10:04

On reflection, I am at least pleased that my MP did vote against No Deal (just wish he wasn't such a party liner)

wannabebetter · 28/03/2019 10:05

Despite NI being majority remain, we have DUP sooooo……….

OnGoldenPond · 28/03/2019 14:57

My MP voted for no deal despite his constituency having voted over 70% to remain. Bastard.

GirlsBlouse17 · 28/03/2019 15:01

My MP voted for No Deal . I look forward to him canvassing at my door at the next general election and I can tell him where to go

GrimSisters · 28/03/2019 15:05

The only one my MP voted FOR was to leave with no deal. He voted against all the others. Cunt! (I very seldom use that word).

Warmhandscoldheart · 28/03/2019 15:08

My MP abstained in all votes but he is a sycophant so no surprise there

Lllot5 · 28/03/2019 15:08

Mine voted no 1-5 6 7 8 voted yes. 65% leave area.

scaryteacher · 28/03/2019 15:33

We were 58:42 leave and my MP voted for a no deal and a managed no deal. She voted no to all the other options. She is very consistent with her vote on this issue, having voted against the WA twice.

Frazzled2207 · 28/03/2019 18:53

Ours voted for no deal, against everything else.
Obviously I've written to him today to let him know my thoughts.

alwaysreadthelabel · 28/03/2019 19:10

Mine abstained from all 8. Hes a twat. Hes in the cabinet and very much out for himself. Anything for publicity including terrorist attacks (just a hint if who it might be)
