To ask for your early pregnancy symptoms

Just that really what were the first things you remember getting before testing?

I thought I could smell garlic all the time. Even thinking about that now makes me want to retch.

I had the smells problem too - smelled cigarette smoke everywhere. It was hideous and lasted the whole first trimester!

Couldn't stop burping from about a week before period was due. This turned in to hyperemesis and nausea for the entire pregnancy.

Going off tea and a big reaction to a bikini line wax that I'd had many times before - whole area went purple and must've been due to changes going on.

Increased sense of smell

I’m 35 weeks with my second, this time I went off my morning cup of tea - it tasted fruity, the only way I can describe it!

Very very sleepy a lot of the time and snapping at everyone over everything. I'm 8 weeks now and have a problem with how hard my DP slams my car door!! It makes me very emotional

Getting out of breath really quickly. I knew I was pregnant with DD because of that.

Pre-testing just sore/tender sometimes tingly boobs

Heart palpitations and headaches and tummy ache

Sore boobs and severe exhaustion, every time.

Well, I had hyperemesis gravidarum so was hospitalised with severe dehydration at 5 weeks, so nausea and vomiting were my only clues before that point. Didn’t get sore boobs or round ligament pain until later.

However, in the year+ I was TTC I managed to convince myself every month that I had early pregnancy symptoms - sore boobs, funny tastes, ‘just knowing’ etc etc. I was wrong every time, and when I was pregnant the only clue (before the exorcist style vomiting arrived) was a late period.

Again the metallic taste, really sore boobs and also I was horny as hell!

Flu like symptoms followed by light headed feeling, to the extent I thought I'd just had a virus and didn't do a pregnancy test until I was ten weeks pregnant... (Irregular cycles)

Hives on my legs - very itchy and uncomfortable. Then strong nausea, headaches and thirst. I did a test the day before my period was due and it was faint. Did another test the day after my period due date and was positive. I soon experienced next level exhaustion and breathlessness on occasion. All very odd but worth it in the end...!

Hot flushes.
I was sweating all down my face in winter and couldn't even go into a shop because their heating was killing me!

Waking up in excess dribble (sexy), sore breasts, itchy nipples, carb cravings, bloated by 4pm and spots on chin (not all on same day, I'm not a COMPLETE goddess) xx

Did the period pains stop? When did they stop?
