Just that really what were the first things you remember getting before testing?

My boobs swelled up so quickly and so dramatically that my shirt couldn’t be unbuttoned. I had to have DH cut it off me with scissors. That was about a week before my period was due and I tested.

iamsuchatit · 21/03/2019 18:35

I had a sore throat and cold in the very early days with a weird cramping sensation.

Then from week 5 onwards I felt super hungover, like really dizzy and then morning sickness hit me like a train from week 6 onwards.

b0bb1n · 21/03/2019 18:38

I started getting nausea what must have been almost immediately after conception! I think that was the only symptom before I did a test and found out. Although I did also suddenly get broody, which had never happened in my life.

maddiemookins16mum · 21/03/2019 18:38

I could not stand the smell of raw meat - I nearly passed out in the butchers one day, I felt like I could taste the raw meat it was weird. Plus I was exhausted, went to the loo at work, put the lid down and rested my head on the wall for 10 mins.

Went off my favourite red wine

IsoscelesSandwich · 21/03/2019 18:40

Both times I got sore gums and really sensitive teeth. Only for the first couple of weeks. Rampant ice muncher by the end.

Clover1981 · 21/03/2019 18:41

Couldn’t finish a meal- felt too full up which never ever happens! Also was so tired I got in to bed straight away when I got home from work for a nap

Moominfan · 21/03/2019 18:42

Nails grew super quick

Tiptoetiptoetiptoe · 21/03/2019 18:50

I found out that I’m pregnant a week last Monday, and the first symptoms started on Saturday but I dismissed them.
The very first one was a feeling of being too full after an average sized meal, followed by flashing lights in front of my eyes when I bent over. I work at an opticians so had them check, and after having a look they said all was fine, but to get my BP checked, I was a bit suspicious though, as the same thing happened when I was pregnant with DC.
On Sunday and Monday I felt weirdly sick, and I couldn’t stand the smell of cooking onions, to the point I was gagging and couldn’t eat my dinner.
A week and a bit on my boobs are very sore and growing and I’m very bloated, a lot more than with my first.
The sickness has mostly gone, though it comes back when I’m hungry, I didn’t get sickness with DC until 7-8 weeks.

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 21/03/2019 18:51

Tiredness like I’ve never had. Asleep before 6pm and struggling to get up at 7:30am the following morning

sweetsaltypopcorn · 21/03/2019 18:53

Dizziness and a huge appetite.

cricketmum84 · 21/03/2019 18:54

Absolute bone tiredness. I could fall asleep anywhere and was usually dozing on the sofa by 7pm every night in the first 12 weeks. Had a general deal of nausea and no appetite but not much actual sickness.

stillawakeat4amagain · 21/03/2019 18:56

The week before my period I kept randomly fancying a cider, like at 11am. I didn't have one as it goes but might of had a wine but not at 11am.

I did also feel exhausted, and had lots of cramps. I assumed I was about to get the worse period ever. I even bought extra sanitary supplies early as I thought it was coming.

The morning before my period was due I sat down to eat my usual breakfast and felt a bit sick in my mouth. I just didn't fancy it. I still didn't twig.

My second I can't say I felt much. I was very surprised and maybe that's why that pregnancy didn't stick. Sad I just didn't have any symptoms even once I got my BFP.

rainingoutside · 21/03/2019 19:00

Really heightened sense of smell (drains and alcohol particularly).

ForInstance · 21/03/2019 19:03

Very sore throat with no related (i.e. coldy-type) symptoms. I had had oral thrush a couple of years previously and was terrified it was a recurrence of that. And complete loss of appetite. DS is 4 months now Smile

EatDessertFirst · 21/03/2019 19:06

More tired than I had ever felt. Like utter, bone-deep exhaustion.
I puked at the smell of tea with both pregnancies.

Roxyxoxo · 21/03/2019 19:10

Tired, thirsty and nauseous. My boobs also felt like I was getting my period, but it never came...

youknowmedontyou · 21/03/2019 20:26

Tired tired tired tired and more tired

firesong · 21/03/2019 21:07

Weird feeling low down... like a brick was weighing me down.

plipliop · 21/03/2019 21:28

I passed out when I went to the toilet in the night.
Did a pg test and BFN.
4 days later I got my BFP!

BunsOfAnarchy · 21/03/2019 21:30

Heartburn. So. Much. Fucking. Heartburn.

whipstitchandwhiskey · 21/03/2019 21:31

I was freezing cold, couldn’t get warm despite 2 hot water bottles, duvet, wool layers etc. Had it with both my pregnancies! Plus the usual tiredness, burping and I just knew

Ladybirdgal · 21/03/2019 21:39

For my first pregnancy, I just felt tired and was constantly sleeping, nothing else. For this one which is relatively still new, I just felt so irritable. Especially towards my fiancé who couldn't do anything right. Also had some light cramping that made me think it was a warning sign my period was going to start and tiredness again.
