As per thread title.. What else reeeeeally pisses you off? Words, sayings, phrases or things people do...

OP posts:
Lovesabadboy · 23/03/2019 23:13

People who are old enough to know better posting a series of photos on Instagram of her flicking her (spectacularly unimpressive!) hair out of her jacket....clearly embarrassingly photographed by her boyfriend.

I can't ever imagine having, at any age, said to my boyfriend....'Please could you take some photos of me flicking my hair about.'
Just plain embarrassing and cringey.

sparkleygem · 23/03/2019 23:15

I really hate it when people say ‘Nom’ when referring to nice food! 😫

sparkleygem · 23/03/2019 23:19

Oh and fucking fur baby..... it’s a pet, not a child

violetdazed · 23/03/2019 23:58

Happy birthday to my dad/mum/cat in heaven!

Maybe it’s really insensitive of me, but as far as I can work out, as long as they’re still struggling to get decent WiFi in parts of Britain, there’s no chance they’ve got it in the afterlife!!!

Dillydallyer · 24/03/2019 00:39

Grown adults called their husband and children DH and DC on online forums. And LTB. And AIBU. Just for example 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or....maybe just let people get on with posting what they want on their own social media pages and if you don’t like it hit the unfriend/unfollow button. I’m sure you wouldn’t be missed with your judgemental twatty opinions.

Bawdrip · 24/03/2019 00:50

Happy birthday to my gorgeous funny clever generous happy charming popular sweet sensitive thoughtful talented darling inquisitive genius artistic favourite little person/ baby girl/handsome man.
When you all know her kid is a spoilt little nasty bully.

Bawdrip · 24/03/2019 00:51

Also a photo of someone captioned "miss this face"

paddyplaistow · 24/03/2019 00:58

Someone I know posts pics of her, admittedly lovely baby.
Then says " my ovaries!"
Very strange.

kissmelittleass · 24/03/2019 01:08

My bad ffs 🙄 can't frigging stand it it's like nails on a chalkboard

Catsinthecupboard · 24/03/2019 02:13

#people who judge those of us who use social media without much skill but lots of enthusiasm.

(Although not me. I don't have accounts bc you lot frighten the beejeezuss out of me)

pineapplebryanbrown · 24/03/2019 02:27

#havingashit
#yourepulseme
#stickitupyourownarse

I don't have any SM, probably wise.

itswinetime · 24/03/2019 03:02

#raisingboys #raisinggirls < they make me especially angry when talking about newborns! The fact bob did a shit up his back is not due to the fact he is a boy!!! Neither is the fact Chardonnay has a massive bow on her head anything to do with her!! That's all on you love!

Also #myfriendsarebetterthanyourfriends always linked to a bragging post about a holiday or present or some such shit! Actually sue my friends do nice things without needing a hashtag so fuck you!

Can you tell hashtags give the rage Wink

Badgersocks · 24/03/2019 04:28

Posts on slimming world sites of some god awful looking hash with #yummy, #nomnom or the worst #getinmabelly. Puts me right off!

MamaSharkDooDooDooDooDooDooo · 24/03/2019 06:29

"I'm so upset"

"Why, what's wrong"

"I can't talk about it on FB"

Then why post it??!! 🤦‍♀️

magratvonlipwig · 24/03/2019 06:41

"TabbyMumz
Can't stand people wishing happy birthday to someone who has passed away. They are not reading it. They cannot read it. "
Yes I hate this too. Especially if they were never on social media even when they were alive.

Also the word "passed" instead of saying passed away or died. Passed sounds like they just walked by the window. Death is much worse than that.

And i really hate a Facebook post followed by about 10 hashtags that are all saying nearly the same thing

mrshousty · 24/03/2019 07:32

Just the c word and people who think they know what my kids need more than I do (except my mum 😁😂)

ToftyAC · 24/03/2019 07:39

Whilst I find all these put forward mildly irritating, I don’t really mind. The only one that grinds my gears is “Works at Full Time Mummy”.
Yes, Chardonnay is that because you’ve never held down a job and started churning your 6 kids out at 16?
Ugh

Coldandfrosty · 24/03/2019 07:42

Bossbabe mumboss livingmybestlife those hashtags usually are associated with mlm crap

Coldandfrosty · 24/03/2019 07:45

@itswinetime oh yes the #myhusbandsbetterthanyourhusband no love hes really not. Just cos he gave you an instagrammable bunch of flowers it doesn't cancel out the fact he cheats, constantly binge drinks and you're always moaning he does sweet fa with the kids.

Bin85 · 24/03/2019 07:45

My little lady and my little prince for babies

Coldandfrosty · 24/03/2019 07:46

@Bin85 and people who call their babies/toddlers sexy.

HailEdmundLordofAddersBlack · 24/03/2019 07:50

"Dat dress tho".
"This girl though"
"This one". AngryAngryAngry

All the others too. My 25year old friend does the full range of #livingmybestlife shit. I think it's an age thing. Those of us over a certain age just don't get this "insta life". Well, I don't anyway.

SkaterGrrrrl · 24/03/2019 08:03

#Furbaby

#soblessed

CutesyUserName · 24/03/2019 08:15

"Happy belated birthday". FFS.

Catwaving · 24/03/2019 08:31

The use of DH/DS/DXH/DD etcetera...

Sorry, just can't stand it. Who EVER refers to their "dear husband" "dear daughter" out load?! How and when and why did the D bit get added on???
