Nc for this so it's not outing but I'm a regular on here .
As the title says Aibu to think it's not ok to shout and swear at your boss and it should be a disciplinary?? Never been in the situation before as never worked in an office environment which is why I'm asking .

I'm a swearer generally in conversation at home and work and don't mind language but wouldn't tolerate being sworn at or in anger.

Day to day swearing casually is fine but if staff - anyone for that matter - started swearing at me I'd have them in a heartbeat. When I tackle something serious I don't use language and I'm always respectful and professional which I expect in return.

Only ever had one person who couldn't help herself really overstepped the mark. She created so much drama and was forever bitching but started on at me one day in front of staff and visitors over something and nothing it was ludicrous. Knew she was inclined to just go off her nut so told her to pipe down and follow me in the office so we could talk properly and she unleashed this torrent of abuse and actually said "I'll knock you out" Hmm

Everyone gets annoyed and we can all lose our temper and act out of sorts but I will not be spoken to like that or threatened by anyone.
