I can't really remember why I came to Mumsnet, I started out by reading Classics. There are some incredible threads in there and by people from all different walks of life.
Earth mother's account of caring for a heroin addicted baby had me in tears.
The Reality v Expectation in style and beauty also had me in tears, of laughter.
Wanky things is another good one
Too many to mention.
The reason I keep coming back is the Feminism boards. The women are so articulate, well informed and knowledgeable. I've learned many many things from them. I've found myself using their words and expressions irl. This is a very scary time for women and girls and I've found much courage from many of the posters on Feminist chat.

newtlover I’ve made Fifteens twice since I saw that thread! Delicious.

Feminist boards have opened my eyes, informed and made me much more gender critical.

Brexit - particularly Westminstenders threads have shown me the wealth of knowledge on here, informed me and provided invaluable consolation knowing many other women are similarly minded.

I think mumsnet is a gem, and Massively underestimated. We are Sooooooo much more than a parenting site!
