I think mine would be Planes, Trains, Automobiles.

I also loved Superbad, Anchorman and Trading Places.

I wish I could say something which paints me as someone with class, but nothing makes me laugh more than Kevin and Perry Go Large,
The Inbetweeners (but only the first one) and the American Pie movies!

FishCanFly · 06/03/2019 14:55

Moonwalkers, Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Borat

Twuntsrule · 06/03/2019 16:34

@Emms80, LOVE The Sweetest Thing -- my list is near the beginning, around page 3 or so, and it has other OTT filthy movies like Dirty Grandpa, Porky's 1 & 2, and so on. The glory hole scene and the maggoty leftovers in the car are two of my favorite things about TSThing, and of course, Selma Blair getting caught on her boyfriend's knob!

DoneLikeAKipper · 06/03/2019 16:54

Already been mentioned but

Deadpool
Hot Fuzz

And my favourite

Team America - so clever, so quotable, still so satirically relevant and so so funny.

AliceAforethought · 06/03/2019 20:01

Napoleon Dynamite,
Withnail and I,
The Man With Two Brains,
National Lampoons European Vacation,
Team America,
The Princess Bride
Carry on at your convenience! 😀

AliceAforethought · 06/03/2019 20:01

Oh and the South Park Movie

Blompitude · 06/03/2019 20:10

Le dîner de cons

ForalltheSaints · 06/03/2019 20:12

Withnail and I

Torvi · 06/03/2019 20:13

Superbad!

TemporaryPermanent · 06/03/2019 20:14

Airplane - watching it in the cinema aged about 12 was one of the most glorious evenings of my life. I think it was an AA so I was underage, even better. Full audience pissing themselves.

Blades of Glory.
Bananas is hilarious [shrug]

marvellousnightforamooncup · 06/03/2019 20:15

Young Frankenstein
Airplane.

Drogonssmile · 06/03/2019 20:17

I love Stepbrothers. It always makes me laugh 😆

Thirtyrock39 · 06/03/2019 20:18

I'm sure it's controversial to say this one on MN because it's woody Allen but I recently watched Annie Hall for the first time and was literally crying with laughter
Also ghostbusters and American pie

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 06/03/2019 20:32

Tucker and Dave vs Evil is good too.

AmethystRaven · 06/03/2019 20:35

Get Him to the Greek is terrible but hilarious. Sergio's text always sets me off - "Where the fuck are you? Smiley face." And of course Stroke the Furry Wall. Grin

I love Superbad, I used to work with a guy called Evan and everytime I talked to him my brain came up with a random quote from the film!

AgadorSpartacus · 06/03/2019 20:40

The Birdcage and Death at a funeral

EllebellyBeeblebrox · 06/03/2019 20:49

Burn after reading
Welcome to collinwood

JaneKay · 06/03/2019 23:18

Step Brothers is the last funny film I watched which I could watch over and over again

BBTHREE76 · 07/03/2019 00:07

Yet another vote for What we do in the Shadows. Thanks to me banging on about how good it is, my whole team at work say “werewolves not swearwolves” if any of us drop an f bomb 🤣🤣
Older favourites are already mentioned - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Trading Places and Airplane. My absolute fav hasn’t been mentioned (though it is a bit un pc now) - The Jerk starring Steve Martin. I adore this film 😍😍

Freyanna · 07/03/2019 00:10

Uncle Buck

Overboard

Tinkerbell456 · 07/03/2019 00:10

Massive fan of anything Simon Pegg, the Pythons of course and also Eddie Izzard. Lots of faves actually, but these spring to mind. I am a Brit by birth. Do we have a different sense of humour to the US? I think we do.

AliceAforethought · 07/03/2019 00:21

BBTHREE76

The Jerk, of course! Been decades since I’ve seen that. “I was born a poor black child” 😂

Also forgot to mention Harold and Maude.

Ribbonsonabox · 07/03/2019 00:22

Parts of Tropic Thunder are hilarious but it drags as a whole film...
Happiness by Todd Solondz is the most funny film I have ever seen... it's very dark though, I was hysterical and horrified at the same time!

I do quite enjoy Anchorman as well! Parts of the inbetweeners movies were quite funny...
I did laugh a lot the first time I saw Zoolander

I prefer British humour but that seems to be best expressed in short bursts... I cant think of many film comedies which I found funny from the UK. Was very dissapointed with the Alan Partridge film and the Ab Fab film.

Ribbonsonabox · 07/03/2019 00:25

Ah I forgot about Borat.. I did laugh a lot throughout that

ClinkyMonkey · 07/03/2019 00:29

What About Bob?
Sideways
Ace Ventura 2 - especially the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang scene!
Spinal Tap
