Honestly, the most I've ever laughed at a film is a Mel Brooks film from the 60s called Start the Revolution Without Me.

When I was about 12, my mum suddenly got very excited in a video rental shop, when she spotted it. She said she'd seen it on her honeymoon in 1969, and it had been the funniest thing she'd ever seen, but that she'd never seen it since. She was a bit scared to watch it again in case it was actually awful, but we laughed like I've never laughed before, it was just SO bonkers. I then couldn't find it again anywhere until about 3 years ago, when I found the dvd, and then I was a bit scared to watch it in case it wasn't as good as I remembered, but omg, it was just SO funny.

It's Donald Sutherland and Gene Wilder as two sets of identical twins who've been mixed up at birth and then get all mixed up in the French revolution, with lots of stupid who-is-who mix ups, Billie Whitelaw as a bonkers Marie Antoinette, the idiot French king dressed as a cockerel, and just a general Mel Brooks style bonkers fiasco.
