Will it scar him for life if I let him find out for himself that he it is, in fact, 'bread sticks' he loves, not "big d*cks'?!

Football sounds like fuckboy. He was once sat at the table saying "fucking knife" over and over took me a while to realise he was saying fork and knife

donaldducksgranonceremoved · 04/03/2019 23:37

DS used to call his buggy his "bugger"

Which was fun

"I want my bugger" tantrummed when I thought it was time we stopped using it

And used to yell "fast as you can" on repeat when running but it came out "fuuucking fuuucking fuuucking" I knew what he meant, it was only the looks that made me clock it was coming out differently to others

Skyzalimit · 04/03/2019 23:40

From our various 4 kids:

Clockit for chocolate
Ambiance for ambulance
Curtain for car window ('open my curtain!')
Muhumph for the MPH roadsign
Vulva for Volvo

JAMMFYesPlease · 04/03/2019 23:47

We had "jobbies" for strawberries (in Scotland) and "shit fucks" for flip flops. Still no idea how DD1 got to the second one. It didn't take her long to figure out the real words.

Layza101 · 05/03/2019 00:00

My 3 year old calls robots, rubops, and he's currently got chickens POPS.

BringYourUtmost · 05/03/2019 00:08

Never correct it, they'll correct themselves far too quickly. It's sooooo sweet.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 05/03/2019 00:16

Cupincumber for cucumber
Compinputer for computer
And my all time favourites... Hair-cups for hiccups and hair-bottoms for farts 😂😂

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 05/03/2019 00:19

Oh and "wiffle" for "careful"...said repeatedly to himself as he manoevered around the climbing frame ♥️ "Wiffle...wiiiiffle...." 😂😂

Smotheroffive · 05/03/2019 00:28

Budder, budder, budder!!! And yes...Blush

runninginheelsisnotfun · 05/03/2019 01:02

🤣 this made my night.
My favourite in our house is shit baw instead of football- that's my girl you tell daddy to turn the shitbaw off 🤣 we live in Scotland where baw is a standard word for ball

nanny2012nanny · 05/03/2019 02:33

Cockporn here too and socks were cocks

MumsyJ · 05/03/2019 04:07

My dd:
plait = prat. Whenever she sees someone's hair in a plait, in a super loud tone " look mummy that's a prat" 😂

I promise you I don't use that word, she just pronounces L as R at the moment, ( black = brack) which I find cute/ funny as by tomorrow she'd grow out of it which can be heartbreaking hahaha.

Sherwil16 · 05/03/2019 05:09

The toddler in the family must have been learning about shapes at pre-school when he asked me to draw him a squircle.

tattooq · 05/03/2019 05:31

DD doesn't have many, but she does call her friend William Willybumbum Grin

RainyDaysSunnyNights · 05/03/2019 05:57

My dd has a rather large giraffe in her room that OH and I named Jackie before she was born. All giraffes are now known by dd as 'Jackieraffe'

She was talking to me about 'the yellow flowers' yesterday and I told her they were called daffodils... I can't even begin to explain her pronunciation but I need to get it in film before she corrects herself 😍

RainyDaysSunnyNights · 05/03/2019 06:00

Oh yes farfabella = umbrella. I do correct her but I'll be sad when she says it properly.

Florencenotflo · 05/03/2019 06:16

MIL bought Dd some of those animal snap cards. Dd likes the tall pink birds... amingos!

slipperywhensparticus · 05/03/2019 06:17

Eletuts ( elephant)
volksdragon (Volkswagen)
knife fucking spoon (knife fork spoon)

Isleepinahedgefund · 05/03/2019 06:19

My DD did the clock/cock one, was so much fun when we were at the train station (almost every day) and without fail she would point and say "look mummy! Big cock!"

She also called parcels arseholes, and as s result once called the postman an arsehole when he came to the door with a delivery.

My favourite was when she was in the I wave at everyone and everyone waves back stage and she'd wave and say "Die!" instead of bye.

Uptheshard · 05/03/2019 06:23

The ramba doubt. ... Is the roundabout...

Fluffysunshinepants · 05/03/2019 06:29

My daughter had difficulty with somw word soundings so attended speach and language. She made very quick progress and on the day of discharge from the service we attended a final meeting. When asked if we were happy with m progress my DH piped up no. Both mine and the therapists head swivel round for an explanation, DH pipes up 'she's stopped saying her cute mispronouncations like i want the udder one instead of the other one! Cue head shaking and laughter x

Onescaredmuma · 05/03/2019 06:35

My dd 2 is terrible for this and they're all so bad you'd think she was doing it on purpose
Stick = dick
Stick man = dickman (worlds worst super hero)
Mousetrap = mouse crap
Clock = cock
Lily = willy (brilliant when she talks about the orange Willie's in the garden)
She also says shit very firmly to dogs the owners look horrified until I tell them she's going for sit Grin
One I'll never correct though is she calls her sleepsuit her duggy no idea why she does but its adorable and I'll be gutted when she stops.

roundligament · 05/03/2019 07:08

Arse berries instead of raspberries 😂

chibsortig · 05/03/2019 07:10

My 4 year old calls plaits fiddles. I can see her point since i have to fiddle with her hair to get them in.
Shouts for sprouts.
effelents for elephants
