I've posted a link to a news article that explains what I'm talking about.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/bizarre-reason-parents-throwing-slices-14081047.amp

Had a friend that uploaded a video on fb today of her attempting it numerous times with her DC.

AIBU to just think it's a bit weird? Confused

Is this the mary whitehouse appreciation thread?

Comedy is very subjective, there is no moral stance argument to make in these challenges until people start lumping wheels of Stilton at children.

This is near peak mumsnet, but I know I am over hyping it as its only got onto page 2 in 2 days. The OP hasn't sold as many pitchforks as she intended.

This is what happens to society when you remove all of the predators.

I'm stealing this Grin

Myfoolishboatisleaning · 08/03/2019 00:29

awful. What if the corner goes in the eye? Cruelty. 😂😂

Februaryblooms · 08/03/2019 00:38

I wouldn't dream of doing it to DS even though knowing him he'd just take it off and scoff it because it's just cruel..

I'd absolutely do it to DP though Grin

Klopptimist · 08/03/2019 01:50

I wouldn't call it 'child abuse' but no it's not very nice, unfair to the child, not cute or funny and a waste of food. Plus, all babies look the same to me, therefore see one baby with cheese on its face, you've seen them all. Completely pointless.

some people really should be allowed out, some of these fads are not remotely funny they are so stupid they make the doers look like complete knobs, esp when they put it on social media. total idiots. -not on medication ? er, perhaps you should be for doing this stuff in the first place. Smile

diabeticsanon · 08/03/2019 06:33

*shouldn't be allowed out

To be honest I consider it a weird and dumb challenge, to throw cheese slices, what’s so challenging about it anyways? Has anyone seen the real challenges out there in the world? Like for example surviving in a small room for 24 hours. That’s a real challenge, and there’s a lot of them on the internet, yet people prefer to throw cheese slices. Just look at YouTubers and the challenges they do, like for example Rebecca Zamolo (www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeLur4zw9Yh_HEaqu08W7_uTOMtpjKfEs), she has an entire channel full of challenges. And they are actually entertaining and fun to reproduce challenges, I don’t get why the young ones don’t take on more fun challenges.
