Jane, honestly it was better years and years ago! ' good honest food ' no foam or faffing about. One winner a week , then a final and finish.

I watched that waffle thing too. If he's that excited about a potato waffle he could at least eat one. What are you Gregg? Excited processed food cheapskate or master chef? They don't really go together.

There was someone on a previous 'reasons we hate Greg(g)' thread who met him on Inside the Factory and said he was very rude to everyone and the interest he shows is completely put on for the camera.

He does like how they process the food. Then won't eat any of it! It's true but I hadn't noticed that before. They probably hired him as he can shout louder than the big potato peeler machine!! Not many people could do this.

I would struggle to find a potato waffle maker machine interesting to be fair ! But I would be nice about my lack of interest.

Can't stand him. Love Inside the Factory though...although we're looking forward to watching him embarrass himself with a terrible fake Italian accent next episode...the pasta one was amazing!

@The80s that was the format when I went on all those many moons ago. Agreed it was better, but a lot of it was set up and the kitchens were fake and shit. My oven didn't work, but then they had the audacity to say my meal was undercooked! Gave me the proper rage that did. had to cut and re-take when I pointed out exactly why.

I 'won' the bit in the real restaurant kitchen though (judged by an actual top professional Chef), so I was happy with that.

@Richly we could have been finished filming HOURS before. I am NOT exaggerating. Pissed him off no end that I called him Craig instead of Gregg for all 3 days. It started out as a genuine mistake, but I soon decided the conceited twatwaffle needed bringing down a peg or two.

I don’t hate him either! I was quite sad when I saw that he and John weren’t mates in RL, but Gregg had John as best man at his wedding and John has nothing to do with him outside of work 😂

Ok he’s not a chef but that’s doesn’t mean he doesn’t know food. Plenty of food critics can’t bloody cook!
