I get what Dec2018 means. When I get nails done it does make me feel better about myself. Not because they are pretty, but because i took care of myself and treated myself.

Same like when people go to gym (when they like gym). Or when they go and learn new skill or study.

It's about doing something for yourself. And nails are actually one of the easiest things.

Certainly, there are ethical issues with many things, and it’s good that you recognise that. As well as the exploitation of women (and I think there is something particularly perverse about getting sexual gratification by watching a woman that might be being exploited...it’s not possible to tell, and if she isn’t, plenty of other women are) how do you feel about the fact the vast majority of porn completely normalises violence against women? That “forced...whatever” and “teen..whatever” are a huge part of even “mainstream” porn sites like pornhub. There are many, many other issues.

It’s not just “what men do” in a vacuum.
