AIBU to think my friend is stalking me

A bit of an exaggeration but my friend seems to spookily know when I arrive home and always seems to know if i'm out. At first I put it down to co-incidence but now it seems to happen to much for it to be a coincidence

I've checked all my facebook settings but they don't show my location.

Another really weird thing is that a little while ago I had a exchange student lets call him Pete, staying with me who used to walk into town every morning to get to college. My friend said to me once, "Does Pete always wear that checked shirt, hasn't he got any others?" Pete did seem to wear his checked shirt a lot but i'd never even introduced her to him and they hadn't met?????

AIBU to wonder whats going on?

@owlbethere you can turn that off in privacy settings so people won’t know when you’re on.

I wouldn’t put up with this. It’s an invasion of privacy and would cross boundaries for me. The only person I message on a daily basis is my DH. I might message my friends/family every few days but it’s not about where they are or what they’ve been doing that day. It’s more general ‘how are you?’ etc. I would find this weird and stifling and would end the friendship.

@LellyMcKelly how do I do that ?

ecumenicalpatter · 07/03/2019 12:32

OP - is your friend still stalking you?

My neighbour rang me up last week to say she had seen my husband turning the other way out of the village, he started a new job. She also informed me that a man around the corner had sadly passed away and was going to be cremated, as she had been to the cemetery to check for a hole being dug!

Buy a shirt just like Pete's and a woolly hat.

Barge out of your own house dressed as Pete, screaming and yelling, and hare off down the road.

Wait for the text.
