Has the loudest purr ever! Even when she was a kitten it sounded like she was breathing through a fog horn. She's 10 now

I have a friend whose cat purrs very loudly. She also sits looking at you and makes a loud noise with her mouth open as if she is talking shouting at you/telling you off. We find it quite endearing. My friend thinks her cat has dementia

This is Guzzles, he's only 6 months old and when he wants to wake me for food his purr sounds like a helicopter! It's so so pound and when he sits on you - to let you know he's trying to wake you so you can have the pleasure of feeding him - you vibrate!

We love this gentle boy so much! He costs a fortune in food as he raids the fridge - with the assistance of his toddler helper and demands feeding every hour.

The vet told us our boy (Bella - we found out at neutering that she was a boy but she was answering to Bella by then!!) was the loudest cat they'd ever looked after. It's the miaow though, not the purr).

I miss this boy too. His name was Jimmy, he was nearly 20 when he left us (Eva is/ was the small one😋)

One of mine has a whistly purr/breathing like she's got a blocked nose... I asked the vet about it who said she might have a slightly deviated nose but was otherwise perfectly healthy, and it's my favourite noise to listen to- wheezy whistly sniffy noises first thing in the morning 😍

We adopted him when a friend moved abroad, he's the first cat my previously allergic partner has ever had

He's also bloody massive and now every time she sees another cat she's convinced they're kittens

Last time he went to the vet he was weighed at 8kg

My bipolar Rosie. Casting like mad and she sleeps on the same spot at the end of the bed each day, so put a large fluffy throw down - which she actively avoids.
