I have to wonder why I bother.

Seems I don't see anyone unless I go to them.

Made sure I was home from visiting family. Let down Larry is a no show again.

They text me yesterday to confirm time. It replied.

Sat here like tripe at four pence again. Heard nothing.

I kinda refuse to chase now. AIBU to now ignore them?

Ho fucking hum.

I was visiting family. I made sure I was home for my expected visitor who chose the time themselves.

I do have plans to see a different friend tomorrow. I'm going there though and guess what I'll actually be there and on time. Shocker!!

(However if they cancel on me then I'm going to have to starting finding out what is wrong with me)

I have a relative like this. We are close but I now refuse to meet her in town. She frequently turns up more than an hour late when it only takes 20 minutes to drive into town and pay. The obvious conclusion is that she thinks her time is more important than mine. The problem is I don't agree. I once tried turning up a bit late ,,,but just couldn't bring myself to arrive more than 15 minutes late. You've guessed it ...i still arrived 45 minutes before her. Never again. If she valued my time she wouldn't do it.

In the end you have to value yourself and not allow yourself to be treated in that way. Either they will get better if you put your foot down or they don't value you. If that's the case spend your time with those who do value you. Good luck op.
