To ask for your experiences with Washer / Dryer combos

Apologies, I'm blatantly posting for traffic.
My washing machine has died this afternoon and my tumble dryer went a fortnight ago.
I really only use the tumble dryer for bed linen, pjs, socks etc.....
Could you please give me your pro's and cons of having a washing / dryer combo versus separate machines?
I like the idea of saving the space for perhaps an under counter freezer .....
Or would I be frustrated and annoyed with one and wish I had bought separate machines again.
I need to get ordering quickly hence my AIBU topic post for traffic.
Thanks so much

I love ours. It's zanussi and we've had it three or four years now and still going strong. You just put the stuff in, set the wash, press auto dry, and four hrs later it's sorted. No having to transfer wet washing over to another machine. Really love it.

We have one, don't have space for separate machines. Had an AEG for about 6 years then it died, but I used it pretty much daily during that time (for washing at least, plus a drying load about half the days). Replaced it with a Bosch one. They're not perfect but if you don't have space and don't want to have your house full of air drying stuff every winter then they're the only option.

My Ecobubble doesn't make everything creased, just the same / normal amounts as previous Hotpoint / LG....

I can wash and dry (separately) do a huge load of towels in an hour wash and an hour dry in separate Bosch washer and dryer. The thought of waiting 4 hours for the load to complete concerns me

trinitybleu I may be unfairly maligning the Ecobubble, but it is so much worse than my previous machine which was a Bosch washer/dryer. It had an "anti-crease" feature that paused spinning and tossed the clothes around every so often. Then if you left it in the water (officially called rinse hold), or forgot to unload after a spin , it did the same thing.

It was wonderful, and lasted 18 years, and I miss it so much I could cry.
