I’m not part of any ‘professionally offended brigade’ (why is it always a ‘brigade’?) at all.

What I’m trying to say and it clearly hasn’t landed, is that I would find a joke about Trump a lot funnier if it focused on his actions and words as opposed to the fact he is white. The aim would be at him personally rather than an accident of birth that a billion others who have nothing to do with him share.

My dislike of Trump has nothing to do with his whiteness.
