To ask Pre-School if all children are vaccinated?

New account, been off a while.

My DS is 22 months, he will be starting pre school in April.

He is fully vaccinated (even the flu jab).

AIBU to ask the pre school if all children are vaccinated as ideally I'd prefer my DS not to be around unvaccinated children if I can help it.

They won’t be able to tell you due to data protection.

Yidette yy my DC are vaccinated too but I just find these threads very bullying and disingenuous.

i might be slow here.have been called worse.does vax not protect your child.regardless of where contanimation comes from?

Aridane · 04/02/2019 23:59

And, OP, this is why in some countries vaccination is mandatory - ie children cannot attend school etc without vaccination certificates.

Vaccination won't guarantee your son won't get the diseases he's vaccinated against but you've put him in the very best position not to. Just a shame that residual risk,is continued by those not vaccinated for no good reason.

For a pro-vaxxer, I’m not sure you quite understand how vaccines work....

I think she understands better than some here, who seem to think that a vaccination means that 100% immunity for everyone who has them. Each vaccine will not be effective for 5-15% of recipients of childhood vaccines, depending on the vaccine.
