Hi everyone,
My daughter 12 and half started he periods last month, I did expect it soon as I could see her body changing. Today my nearly 10 year old daughter shows me her pants and it has slightly red on it, she said it's been since last week and was confused. I'm shocked she looks like she's 7 she's absolutely tiny and petite and she doesn't know anything.
Is this really her period ? I didn't start my period until 12 I definitely wasn't expecting her to start yet intact I thought she'd be later than 12 as she's so petite. Could this be discharge of some sort ?
Thanks

Afternoon,

Just letting you know that we've deleted a number of troll hunting posts. The OP's a long-term member of the site and has changed her name for this thread, as she's explained.

We do of course understand people's concerns about threads on sensitive topics like this one - but we ask that you report any concerns to us rather than troll hunt on the thread.

Obviously we can never truly vouch for anyone on the site, but please rest assured that if we had any doubts at all that an OP may not be genuine, we'd always err on the side of caution and take the thread down.

Sorry for the interruption, OP. Flowers

If you'd like us to move the thread out of AIBU and into either our Pre-teens topic or our Children's Health one, please just report this post and let us know.
