AIBU to ask what the hell is this we've inherited

My Dsis & I have just been going through some boxes our dad sent over mostly bits from our nan who was a big collector.
Most things are identifiable but what the hell is this?
I'm going for a weird chamber pot or maybe store flour? You wouldn't want to muddle the two up though

Just a quick update, took the boxes to an auction house most aren't worth anything, so went to the charity shop for someone to cherish we hope!
