I'm just wondering if we ate those croissants or they're still in the freezer? Blush

I've taken to spreading jam across the outer surface, I turn them upside down and spread across the bottom, as it's flatter. The one's I've been eating just retreat from an ordinary bread knife, you'd need a scalpel to cut them.

I think I have also pulled them apart with fingers in the past, but I can't be bothered any more.

I may have to brave the sleet and pop up to the bakery and buy some croissants in the morning. Ds bought me an almond one the other day, or I could buy a pain au chocolat, or a ronde suisse. Decent croissant ,make living in Belgium bearable.

Starbucks do sell a nice one with bechemal sauce and mushrooms though which is just delightful.
