Clutching the bump ?

Ok normally I do not give a fuck about the Royals but I have just seen another picture of MM clutching the bump again and it's made me irrationally annoyed. WTF is this holding her bump ALL the time about ?

I notice it with a lot of celebs, holding under the bump. Usually in dresses.

I think it’s to do with holding the dress fabric against the bump so the shape is defined and they look definitely pregnant, rather than fat or just large generally.

I think it’s interesting that even pregnant celebs feel they have to define their body shape.

Maybe people are just proud of their bump and want to show it off? That's allowed isn't it?

For fuck's sake! Another one! Leave the woman alone. How tedious.

Why is having a negative opinion on Meghan Markle any different to having an opinion on any of the many celebrities who are in the public eye?

'Bitchy' opinion? No, a bitchy opinion would be 'that woman's dress sense is appalling'. This is an observation. In all the press clips (not random photos) she is constantly cupping her bump. I don't know any other pregnant woman who has done this. It isn't 'bitchy' to wonder why on earth she does it.

As I said previously prior to this she was constantly stroking Harry so maybe she likes keeping her hands busy.

At least while she is constantly bump cupping she isn't hanging on to Harry's hand and stroking him. Maybe it's all a facade and she's really deepy insecure and self conscious and doesnt know what to with her hands in public .

Why do you wonder why she cups her bump? Because she wants to!

It's possible that she's aware that she is unpopular with some and uses her pregnancy to elicit sympathy and positive feelings, as seen by the frequent belly cupping and coat throw backs for the paps. All in a days work for her, I bet, just working the pr angle, she just needs to figure out that Brits in general don't fall for that over the top stuff so much. She'll work it out.

I held my bump a lot when I was pregnant, I felt tired and achy and I felt like it made that not as bad.
