I am not retired.
But, I quite like the look of it, it's like the old Mercedes A class, and it's apparently very reliable and practical and the inside is so clever.
But then again, I look at what else I could get for the same money and wonder if I'd regret it.

Mine is 11yrs old. I didn't buy it and it wasn't what I would have chosen. I didn't want to like it.

However it is a fab little car and grudgingly I have really grown to like it and I have changed my plans about when to buy a new car because I just can't justify getting rid of it.

It is ridiculously easy to park, hugely spacious inside for such a small car, the visibility is second to none, it has a turning circle like a black cab and a boot that makes the tardis look a bit pokey. I can get a wheel chair in without moving the back seats and without removing the wheelchair footplates or folding the handles and there's still room for some shopping!

The manual gear box is lovely, just as nice as on sportier cars, it is fairly nippy at low speeds and perfectly fine at motorway speeds though not exciting.

Fuel economy is ok but not amazing, insurance and tax are a bit pricey for what it is. It is very reliable.

Honestly the image is the only thing I can really criticise.

Do people really buy cars to think it will make them look ‘ fashionable ‘ or something ?! Like clothes?

Er, yes! Of course they do!

It's one explanation as to why some people drive cars that are too big for them to actually manage - or buy cars that are known to be unreliable.

It was top of the JD Power customer satisfaction for about 10 years. It only slipped to 2nd place because Citroen launched the C3 I think.

I'm currently looking to upgrade to a bigger car and I'm really struggling to find something with decent boot space like the Jazz.

Fuel economy is around 38-42mpg around town (older car and shit traffic) and upto 55 mph on longer journeys. Tax is about £120 I think. Full service about £180. New tyre about £50-60.
