TMI warning. Odoured discharge

So about a week ago, I had a very heavy painful menstrual bleed. It stopped after 1 day. Now today, I have a very heavy vaginal discharge of a white short of discharge which smells to the high heavens. It's coming out in sort of lots of clumps of a slimey white sort of discharge from my vagina. The stink is really bad.
What the hell is this? I haven't had a colposcopy or anything recently but the smell is like when I had an infection post colposcopy years ago.
Lower back pain again, but nothing bad.
Could I have an infection somehow?

Yes, you must seek medical attention, if not tonight then first thing tomorrow. You may have PID and this is not always sexually transmitted. It can get very nasty if untreated so please do get yourself seen ASAP. Good luck.

Bacterial vaginosis you can get a test and treatment from boots

Go to a clinic and get a full sti test or book a GP appointment

I'm not diagnosing you but watery discharge alternating with clumpy discharge and a rotten smell sounds like bacterial vaginosis.

I'll ring the GP in the morning and hopefully get an appointment tomorrow. The odour would knock you out, which has just started today. It's bloody embarrassing. I'll google bacterial vaginosis now. How could I get that?

I'm battling with recurrent episodes at the moment and sometimes the discharge almost seems like I've wee-d myself and yes, I can smell myself.

I got some probiotics to stick up there to try and sort it.

Ok, so I don't have itching, but crikey have I got the strong fishy odour! Oh God. This is making me feel sick.

It sounds like Bacterial Vaginosis. BV generally isn’t itchy or sore.

You will need to see the doctor/duty nurse as you need antibiotics.

I had what I thought was BV. Exactly the same symptoms. Three doctors check ups later , noone checked to see - and neither did I - if anything was up there. Turned out it was a forgotten diaphragm

Op make sure you double check nothing is left in as the doctor will take you at your word in my experience.

Is there a late night pharmacist near you? You can get at-home BV testing kits and medication too

Can't get to a pharmacy this evening. Getting my ass to docs tomorrow. I can't cope with this smell. From myself!

BV smells really fishy, it’s disgusting. I had it once after having a coil inserted, the smell was honestly shocking. Cleared up really quickly with antibiotics and thankfully has never recurred.

Deffo sounds exactly like BV. I've had it a few times and my god the smell and amount of discharge is horrendous. I could smell it through my clothes. They do treatment at the pharmacy

Ok, so some are saying the pharmacy has treatment but some are saying I need antibiotics? Feel like I need to bleach myself to get rid of the smell. It's actually upsetting me. Have alarm set to ring GP in morning. God almighty.

And yes, I can smell this through my clothes despite another shower. It's bloody awful. I feel filthy!
