... to buy two of the same nightie??

I know this is daft, and it's up to me, but this is really strange.

I had to buy some emergency clothes in another city, so bought the cheapest things I could find, including a nightdress that I was convinced was going to be awful, but was dramatically reduced. When I got back to the hotel and tried it on it, it was really flattering and actually made me feel happy.

So, I'm thinking I would always like this in my life. Would IBU to see if I can track down another one now I'm home?! Does anyone buy 2 of something because they like it so much (knickers and bras not withstanding)...?

I love a pantsuit rainbow Sabbatical.

There’s some great ones of Hillary Clinton as well.

I do this a lot if I really like something! Sometimes in the same colour, sometimes in a different colour. Sometimes more than just one extra Grin

YES OP
I do it for me and I buy the next size for DC

I did this once by accident with a summer dress - ordered 2 instead of 1. Couldn't be bothered with returns and it was very flattering. Since then I've bought 2 of things several times.

Dh laughs - he's been doing this for years!

Yes, go for it. I had a pair of jeans that fitted really well. I regret not buying more.
Also thinking of buying a second pair of boots as this pair are so comfortable.

RangeRider · 17/01/2019 15:32

I always buy multiples of things I really like. Sometimes in different colours, sometimes the same. Why not, better to be comfy and if you find something that feels right make the most of it. I currently have 4 or 5 pairs of the same trainer in different colours because they fit really well.

I've recently started doing this. I bought a pair of boots which were lovely and then picked up another pair, but in black last week.
I bought new work boots today- exactly the same as the old ones.

Also, the same style of jeans in 2 colours. 1 denim, 1 black.

I wouldn't consider myself fussy when it comes to clothes, but I find it hard to find footwear that's comfortable and fits well due to extremely wide feet with a high instep.
I am also very large and have a ridiculously long torso with fairly long arms so finding jeans which come up past my belly button and tops long enough to keep my vast expanse of midriff covered when I stretch upwards is a challenge which I can't spend time on very often due to working.

Hey, more of you! Unfortunately some medical stuff has taken over, but I've promised myself that I'm going to go shopping tomorrow and see what happens. Small wins Blush
