Chicken and spinach salad w/mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing, a Coke, pack of potato chips, three cups of iced green tea, and two mini Milky Ways.

This isn't my most successful diet day.

Been (back) on it for 2 weeks now and 8lbs down.
B- 2 slices wholemeal toast, peanut butter and mashed banana. Protein shake with chia seeds.
L- baked sweet potato and 2 slices of ham. Muller Light yogurt.
T- homemade chicken and veg oven baked.
2 cups of decaf tea, 2L water and lots of fruit tea.

I’m on the keto (ketogenic diet) high fat/protein and low carb. Weight loss in the first week is usually huge. Plateau will hate by around day 6.

Yes celery juice tastes of celery even when I drain it. I’ve become accustomed to it though so gag reflex not as bad any more.

@YogaWannabe thank you. Yes it definitely is. First few days is always a high loss. When I’ve done it before I’ve akways had keto flu and brain fog. The celery juicing has really cleared this (and my bowels Blush)

B: 2 slices wholemeal toast & low fat cheese triangle. Coffee & tea &skimmed milk.

L: homemade veg soup & ham sandwich on wholemeal. Diet Coke.
D: chicken, humous & salad sandwich on wholemeal. A bottle of beer. (Was meant to cook veg stir fry but could not be bothered)
Snack: small banana.
Not exemplary dieting but a million times better than what I was packing in in December!! And I’ve been to a gym class, so feeling pretty pleased with myself.

Breakfast was chia pudding with chopped almonds, chopped green apple, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger — coffee with almond milk.

Lunch was homemade lentil stew (left over from last nights dinner) made with carrots, celery and Swiss chard. I added a dollop of Greek yoghurt, a bit of lemon and fresh dill to it today.

Dinner: Fish and greens.

Lots of water and ginger tea.

L- salad with cous cous and diet coke

D- chicken stew

Snacks- Two 90 calorie diet bars, I did burn 200 cal on the exercise bike and an hour of speed cleaning so I'm pretty happy with today.

10am breakfast was 2 x buttered toast and marmite

1pm lunch chicken and ham sandwich and a banana

4pm snack - cup a soup and a graze protein flapjack

7pm dinner spicy lamb with spinach and couscous

Started last Monday and I’m about 6lbs down so far. I’ve boosted my walking so that I burn 2000 cal per day at a minimum and keeping a daily average of 1400.

I’m going to start back at the gym next week in an attempt to burn an additional 2-300 calories a few times a week and will up my calories slightly on those days.

B: skinny latte
L: 6 inch turkey subway with a cookie
D: baked gnocchi and pork meatballs
S: mini Dairy Milk buttons

I’m at 1313 for the day and only drank water except for the coffee. Trying to lose 1.5 stone for June and keep it off.

B - fruit smoothie - blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, banana, spinach, flaxseed, milk

L - salad - ice burg lettuce, red cabbage, grated carrot, 1/2 can tuna and tablespoon of homemade balsamic vinaigrette

D - vegetable pizza

S - one small chocolate at about 3pm, 2 chocolate chip granola bars when I got home from work

Drinks - black decaf coffee

Lunch: fruit salad and a tuna salad thing from Pret
Dinner: lots and lots of gin and tonic, I am a failure 😂

Weigh in is Monday so I can make up the gin waterfall!

B - one grapefruit
L - two sticks of celery, salad with lean ham and balsamic vinegar
S - Green salad and a steak

Trying to stick to under 800 calories a day, and winning! Have lost 1kg so far and hope to lose another this week. I try to eat like this all week and on the weekend I relax a bit a lot

Well done to those on keto. I tried it recently after a friend had a huge loss on this diet. I made it to day 6. I lost over half a stone in that time, but I was miserable, cranky and exhausted. I’m doing slimming world now as it might be a lot slower, but I can see me sticking to it more long term. Keto is brutal!

800 calories a day is tough! I’m trying to stick to around 1200 and that’s hard enough.

Today I had a whole milk latte for breakfast, a bagel thin with hummus and grilled red peppers for lunch, and having shakshuka for dinner. Will come to around 1100 calories so may sneak in a nice chocolate from the box if I feel like it.

B. Porridge with raisins
L. Spinach, handful boiled potatos, 2 fried eggs
D. Cut up Apple, cucumber, carrot, 2 thin slices cured ham, 2 thin wholemeal crackers with cheese

1 coffee with a sugar
1 tea with a sugar
Water

Only day 5 and my enthusiasm is waning
I have lost 2 kilos though. I really ate a lot more before

2x slices of bread and butter
We're about to have some vegan no bull burgers (even though we're not vegan) inside two big mushrooms, with blue and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce, Nando's garlic sauce, burger sauce, crispy potatoes and onion rings. I'm Hank Marvin and I can't wait!

Generally I try to have fruit for lunch now trying to loose weight. So cereal for breakfast, blueberries and grapes for lunch and salmon and salad for dinner.

I had a really healthy veggie stir fry eailer... but I’ve just given into temptation and eaten several Bourbon biscuits... so most of you doing better than me!
