to acknowledge receipt of a parcel of stuff I sent not only free, but didn't even ask for postage cos I thought they would be grateful??

They should acknowledge receipt (with effusive thanks of course) but naming and shaming is not on IMO. They have not promised you payment and failed to deliver.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 29/06/2007 20:02

I agree to calm down
If it really turns out she never thanks you then take it as one of those things.
But it hasn't even gotten so far so please don't let it decend into yet another bitchfest

alexw · 29/06/2007 20:03

Am calm, just a little disappointed - think this thread is gaining momentum of its own...

We had no post today either and I expect there will be a backlog for the next week or so. I'd give it time.

alexw · 29/06/2007 20:14

They may have striked round your way, but I counted fifteen post vans today in Oxfordshire and I got three letters AND a parcel.

Which is odd really because they normally make a point of losing my mail

alexw · 29/06/2007 20:25

Relax, order restored. email received... no more fighting. phew!

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 29/06/2007 20:33

Would it not have been a better idea to email her first before starting a thread about her lack of acknowledgement?

alexw · 30/06/2007 18:55

Didn't have her email address.

flibbertyjibbet · 30/06/2007 19:06

Sparklygt, did you get the door bouncer?

flibbertyjibbet · 30/06/2007 21:03

Oops did I kill this thread? Was just kidding sparkly, your sister thanked me more than enough, I give things away so I can get rid, not so I can wait for the grateful thanks!
BTW if you find out you're having a boy I can drop some 9-12m clothes off at your sisters?

southeastastra · 30/06/2007 21:05

the rm managers manned some sorting offices and delivered themselves (goody goodies)

sparklygothkat · 01/07/2007 00:28
