YANBU at all.

I would expect this as well

juuule · 29/06/2007 19:41

Maybe they haven't received it?

alexw · 29/06/2007 19:42

perhaps, but was posted at beginning of week and all other items posted on same day have had acknowledgements...

OP posts:
IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 29/06/2007 19:42

No, are you sure the parcel has arrived? I know that once I didn't acknowledge receipt as I was a bit overwhelmed with the preparation of a trip for which the parcel had been sent. BUT... I brought a gift for her DD and send it to her when I sent back the thing she has lent me.

Any possibility of something like that happening?

BreeVanDerCamp · 29/06/2007 19:42

There is a postal strike on.

But if that is not a factor it is the height of ignorance. TBH

IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 29/06/2007 19:44

Or, if the parcel arrived when she was out, she may stil need to go to collect it from the post service?

alexw · 29/06/2007 19:45

Can be generous and think it may not have arrived...

OP posts:
moondog · 29/06/2007 19:47

Is it to an MNER??

alexw · 29/06/2007 19:47

Yes

OP posts:
moondog · 29/06/2007 19:48

That's not good at all.

moondog · 29/06/2007 19:48

Nmae and shame the bitch.

IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 29/06/2007 19:50

Please Moondog, it's only a week...

alexw · 29/06/2007 19:50

Will give her time to perhaps have to go to depotas it was too big for letter box and she might not have been able to get out.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 29/06/2007 19:51

Harsh moondog
Don't forget the floods have caused massive disruption too

IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 29/06/2007 19:51

I know that when I get things taken to the depot, I can only pick them up during the weekend.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 29/06/2007 19:51

its only a week, and there has been floods over a lot of the country.

moondog · 29/06/2007 19:51

I know.
I'm a right old cow.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 29/06/2007 19:52

why dont you email them and ask if it arrived safely?

IsabelWatchingItRainInMacondo · 29/06/2007 19:52

Yes, actually one big sorting office was badly flooded (was it in Sheffield?)

whomovedmychocolate · 29/06/2007 19:52

Give her till next Thursday, then name and shame and we shall join you in chiding her.

Desiderata · 29/06/2007 19:54

Is this a MNer, an EBayer, or someone else?

alexw · 29/06/2007 19:55

Did not have her email, but have searched her nickname and found it on another thread and have emailed her. Will let you all know what happens.
PS - am so excited I have had a thread which people have responded to at length - I usually only kill threads!!
